Just what my daughter wanted for Christmas.

I ordered 2 sets of 4. One box was fine. 2 of the 4 glasses in the second box were broken. Thanksgiving glasses are very nice but we’re not packaged sufficiently to withstand shipping.

Beautiful, the perfect glass for white wine, too

Spiegelau is an amazing brand of crystal wine glasses - a simple design in thin, beautiful crystal, this definitely heightens the enjoyment of a glass of wine, including white wine (not just for reds or Bordeaux, etc.) They are quite thin - easy to break. And you definitely want to hand wash and use a flour sack (very soft) towel to dry that won’t leave a lot of lint behind. Also, my latest purchase of these (replacing some that had broken) had one glass with a tiny black speck embedded in the bell part of the glass. These usually come with a number indicating they’ve been inspected on the side of the glass but this set of 4 did not for some reason (it’s easily rubbed off). Ah well - who cares. But just letting you know - this is for the most part a perfect wine glass, highly recommend, but occasionally there may be a flaw here or there.

They are a bit more fragile than I’d like, but they are nice to hold and a perfect size.

The replacement order of glasses are what I expected them to be the first time, and I'm very happy with them. Amazon had the new ones at my home in 2 days. Perfect.

Great value

Nice and light, attractive design, good size, not too big or too small. You don't want super cheap heavy glass wine glasses, get these. The glass is fairly thin as it should be, so you have to a bit careful with them washing, etc., as expected.

Nice glasses

Very nice glasses but they are not packed very good at all!! There is no foam or packing inside the box around the glasses. One glass came broken but that is because the glasses are banging around inside the box with no support. I wouldn't purchase again only because of the lack of packing.

Good quality and good looking

These glasses are a good size - 340ml. It is specified on Amazon's website that they are made in Germany, but in-fact the physical boxes are marked 'made in Czech Republic'. The difference from what I could tell is that the base (part which sits flat on the counter), has a lip or rib edge on the ones made in Czech Republic. I actually own the same glasses made in both countries and they are all good quality.

Lovely glasses for a lovely price!

These are beautiful glasses, and are exactly what I have been looking for. I am intending to use them for drinking mostly Chardonnay. They are tall enough without being ridiculously tall, and the volume is again large without being ridiculously large like a fishbowl. My one concern is that the glass seems quite thin and breakage is a real possibility. Am I happy with my purchase though? Absolutely! Beautiful wine glasses.

Amazing quality

The quality of these are excellent! Very elegant feel to them as they are good quality and the shape of them are lovely, not your normal standard wine glass. These look great when you have guests over and are entertaining!
