Elegant, beautiful glasses but fragile

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux Wine Glasses. Great, elegant, top quality glasses. Very light, nicely balanced. Design and accuracy are way ahead Reidel and other competitors' products. Use and clean with extra care - glasses are made from very thin glass. I would nerve put those to dishwasher. My first shipment was delivered with one broken glass in the box. Poor packing, they just dropped original box with glasses to another cartoon box with no adding any bobble wrap or foam between. Thanks Amazon, they shipped me the replacement.

Nice less expensive high end stemware

I bought the Bordeaux glass as a daily use alternative to Grassl and Zalto stems that have grown too expensive to risk breaking. These are light, thin and elegant in the hand. The balance might not be quite as good as the others, and the height could stand to be just a bit shorter, but given the price differential, these are a very good alternative.

Nice quality glasses

Glass is thin enough, you don’t feel much when the glass touches the lips. Skinny stem make you feel holding a premium wine glass. Glad to see Spiegelau still stay on this ground while Riedel is heading to the other way.

Elegant but fragile

The volume of the glass is great, but somewhat leads to a balance issue. The stem is so thin it actually can flex. The description says that it is dishwasher friendly. But there is no possible way. You can easily break these glasses hand washing. But surprisingly, what should be the strongest part of the glass, the base, was broken in shipping. The packaging is in no way designed for shipping. I would be amazed if any of these would arrive undamaged. They are lightly wrapped in paper. But the box is super thin and the items are loose in the box. We are currently in the replacement process and will see how that goes. A replacement order was automatically placed on the return label generation. All original items must be returned in 30 days or you will be charged for the replacement. Would not recommend as a gift as you most likely will receive damaged items. We had a special event planned that required us to go a different direction. Time of replacement estimates 6 days from now.

Large bowl, but the stem is too thin.

The stem on these glasses is strong enough, but it's super thin. I find it awkward moving the glass, or picking it up. It's pretty, but not very functional. Otherwise, this is a perfect glass.

Beautiful

The glasses look great! I love the look of these altos, but they are just so gastrin expensive and these are great compromise. The only reason that I do not give this product five stars as the fact that one arrived broken. This is probably not the fault of the company but the fault of the shipper. I highly recommend if you’re looking for an incredible glass for incredible wine

These Spiegelau 34oz Definition Burgandy wine glasses are extremely light, thin rimmed, and have a massive goblet that aerates wine quickly. They are superior to any glass I've ever used. The glasses are delicate, so I hand wash them gently.

Beautiful and elegant but extremely delicate … and undeliverable?

This is a beautiful and elegant stemware. But one of the pair I ordered came shattered into pieces. So I’d say it’s extremely delicate. I returned the items and Amazon sent a replacement that later got marked “undeliverable”. So I haven’t received the replacement yet. No update received from Amazon. Again, this item is beautiful and elegant but rather extremely delicate. But I’d still love to have it in my collection. Hurry up with the replacement, Amazon!

Ein Wermutstropfen mit dem Glas

Die Gläser sind großartig und elegant. Ich benutze Sie sehr gerne. Warum nur 2 Punkte in der Gesamtwertung? Ich bestellte gleich 3x 2 Gläser. Die kamen in einer Lieferung. Nun will ich ein Glas, das zerbrochen bei mir ankam, zurücksenden um ausgetauscht zu werden. Funktioniert nicht! Keine Kontakmöglichkeit mit dem Verkäufer. Zu Amazon schon gar nicht. Ich möchte nicht alle gläser retournieren! Bis dato keine chance das eine Glas mit dem Transportschaden ersetzt zu bekommen. TRAURIG!!!!!! Vielleicht hat wer eine Idee dazu!

Wer Weine richtig Genießt oder genießen möchte kommt um das passende Glas nicht herum, wir haben uns zu unseren Zaldo Gläsern noch ein Paar Spiegelau & Nachtmann Gläser gekauft. Um es kurz zu machen, wer etwas Geld sparen möchte sollte zu den Spiegelau Gläsern greifen. Das Glas steht den Zaldo Gläsern in nichts nach das Glas ist auf dem selben Niveau. Wir können beide Empfehlen und ja man muss beim Waschen und trocken reiben genau so aufpassen.
