Nearly essential

Couple this with the telescopic magnetic tool and you have yourself a pretty good gift for any handyman. It can hang from nearly anywhere by its grasping claw, and it will quickly earn your appreciation for all of the time, effort and frustration it will save you.. This is one of those inexpensive gadgets that people always "forget" to return.. I have found nicer ones out there, but this one ain't bad for the price.

Tool exactly what I was looking for added photos an a video

The media could not be loaded. There were so many of these to choose from but I decided on this particular one because it has no plastic. Plastic at some point breaks and is bad for the environment. It's very well made I also chose this due to the length from the under side of the handle to the tip was exactly what I was looking for. I used it to place small plants inside of a 5 gallon vintage glass water bottle to create a terrarium. Not an easy task but this is the only way to get plants inside the 1.5" diameter opening. Worked perfect . Just as it did it in the 80s

Works fine

Works as expected. Limited in its ability to pick up things that are very heavy, but that is to be expected. The price was right and that is what I would suggest basing your purchase off of as most of the similar items on here will function more or less to the same capabilities.

Get two. One gets lost easily, somehow.

Best thing to have in the house. Particularly if there are children around. This tool has been a life and grief saver more times than I expected. The only time it didn’t save the day was when a peanut butter lid mysteriously disappeared into the depths of the toilet. That meant pulling out the toilet. But I couldn’t get it done before dad got home.
