No edges cracking like other kick shields

Holds up well, real leather not like other kick shields so the edges won’t crack and splinter. I have a few of these for my gym and the only issue is over time the handle starts to peel a little which is probably expected but nothing major mostly cosmetic

High quality from Thailand

In general the best Martial Art training equipment is made in Thailand. This is well made and very dense. It has a nice weight to it and can really handle some brutal punishment. I honestly see this taking years and years of abuse. We use it to mostly practice leg kicks for Muay Thai. What's great about using the suitcase pad is that it does not lie. You can instantly tell when the person striking is not using proper technique. There is a certain way to hold this and I suggest practicing first with someone doing light kicks until the pad holder gets the feel of it.
