I press seams open when sewing using this...

When sewing with a natural fiber, like linen or cotton, the roller can be used right after sewing a little seam, or at the ironing board with a steam generator. I press after each step, and the result is a crisper, more professional finish.

Product is fine - Price dropped during shipping

The seam roller itself is fine, it is slightly fragile being plastic, but that comes with a low cost item. But I am upset that I overpaid for this item because Amazon lowered the price twice while my order was in shipping. I ordered at $7.46. When I looked at the order status the price as $5.60 reduced from $6.91. And Amazon does NOT refund for price reductions. I might return the item I ordered and then reorder the same item to save $1.86, but that would cause two more shipping charges (being a prime member Amazon would pay this). But that is wasteful. Amazon should just credit my account.

Does the job without breaking the bank

Sturdier than I expected for the money. I just had to repair some wallpaper seams that popped up.

Makes a great quilting seam roller.

My sister asked me to order this for her for quilting because quilting seam rollers are really expensive. This was far cheaper and should work just as good. So I picked it up and gave it to her. She loves it and says it works well for her needs. If you are into quilting, then get this for 1/10 the cost of a quilting seam roller and have more to spend on squares.

Works well, easy to use

I had to paper my little downstairs toilet in a rush as my plumber told me to get it done over the weekend before he plumbed the toilet in as it would be difficult once it was in and I had to do as I was told as good plumbers are hard to come by. I wanted a wallpaper seam roller at the time and I thought I had one somewhere but I couldn't find it back then and haven't found it since so when this one was offered to try I was delighted and jumped at it. I'd saved some paste in a jar as I knew that this job was going to need doing eventually. It is easier to do a good job keeping seams flat at the time of papering as the paper is still soft and pliable, so I popped a bit of paste underneath with a small paint brush and left it for 5 minutes to soak and soften the paper. Then I used the seam roller to stick it down; I did try with my fingers first and that didn't work, it didn't stay down, so the roller definitely did a good job and my paper is now flat to the wall. The handle is a nice size to fit in your hand and the roller rolls smoothly without getting stuck or scuffing the paper. I'm very happy with this handy little roller and wish I'd had it last February when I was hanging the paper in the first place. I've always found hanging wallpaper very satisfying but I was thinking of paying someone to do my hall as I want the seams to look right but this little gizmo is making me rethink that decision, especially since we can't get it done any time soon due to lockdown. If you want to hang your wallpaper yourself then you definitely need one of these to give you a neat look to your seams.
