First grinder and it ROCKS!

I just began using it on my whitetail deer, and it is amazing! It doesnt bog down at all even with the meat being 1/3 frozen and some of the leg meat still has sinew! It assembles easily, cleans nicely, and so far seems very durable and not heavy at all! The on/off button is easy to just "knuckle bump" on and off.

That is not a good price for that quality

I bought that Smoke House meat grinder 5 month ago via Amazon. Not all gears are complitely from metal, its contain PLASTIC parts inside!! be aware! My previous meatgrinder was the same type, and its worked only one year. I need to say, that i used it rare and accurate (approx 2-3 times per month for making meat puree for my little daughter) I wrote a big review, and put 3 stars because of the LIE in DESCRIPTION. Amazon was successfully REMOVE my review, it is UNHONEST!!! Сurrently my grinder works well, but inside- the plastic hinges- have a limited life. That is not a good price for that quality, I could buy another brand grinder with the same plastic details- 2 times cheaper. If Amazon again will remove my comment, I will write again and put the 1 star!!!

Hungry Timber Wolf

This thing goes thru meat like a hungry timber wolf ! I purchased it from my local Bi-Mart at a promotional price less than $100 at the recommendation of Glenn Thornton (The Rib Dude) and my first project was a BIG Canadian moose. I ground 162# of burger, 3 pork shoulders and 20# of beef fat, then went back and packaged all of that into Ultra Source wild game meat bags and this little bad boy gave me ZERO problems, very impressive !!!!!!!

All metal shaft and gear.

Bought this grinder from a local retailer for $129.00. So far I love it. Powered through 30 lbs of elk meat in no time flat. Love the fact that it has all metal gear and shaft. Aluminum housing. This thing feels very substantial for its size. So far, a great product.

Can be found cheaper

I agree with J.Wal. I picked this up for $129 at my local bimart and it works great. I spent more time butchering than grinding. Easy to use and clean.

I was disappointed - it's not true

I bought this product just because of the descriptions on the website that the chopper is completely made of metal. My previous meat grinder was cost cheaper, and in spite of the quite neat and rare use (3 times in 2 months) in a year of using dead. my husband to take it apart to fix it, but in all the plastic hinges broke. So,if you want to save, then never buy cheap things made of plastic! When I received my order, I was disappointed - it's not true, not all the details are from metal !!! the most vulnerable places again made of PLASTIC, so I think that after a year warranty it will be again smashed to pieces! Don't buy it for that price! Regards to the engine, it is sufficiently powerful. But there are many others available grinders, with the same capacity and characteristics with a plastic details, and they cost 2-3 times cheaper.!!!
