same as my last pair from welding shop, breaking in the sleeve is the only bad part but after that they last, last pair got a small hole in one finger after a year of using and i still use em to torch with but got new to weld with

I love these gloves but...

I've been wearing these Tilly's for years and they've always served me really well as a quality, durable glove at an economic price. however in the last couple months Harbor Freight started stocking tig welding gloves for the same price and I decided to try them out just to see if they were any good at all. It would be more convenient to just buy them in the store when I need them, rather than buying these tillmans online and having to wait 3 days. and well to be completely honest, the Vulcan ones from Harbor Freight are a lot better. The leather is thinner giving you more dexterity at the cost of durability. the Vulcan gloves fit my hands a lot tighter which also adds to the improved dexterity, but not so tight that they are uncomfortable or restrict movement. if you don't have access to a harbor freight then get these Tillman gloves, they're awesome gloves and all you'll ever truely need, but if you have the chance, at least give the Harbor Freight ones a try because they are my new go-to glove. And I dont normally expect this level of quality from harbor frieght

thinner gloves, but work good when you need more feel

I've been using these calls for several years and have bought several sets. They fit tighter on my hand and I like that. Decent resistance to heat, More designef for Tig, but I have mig weld in them all the time, Probably should not though. I like them we'll buy again

Good price and nice big gloves

Same price as the the lower quality ones at the welding shop. Size is on the large side, I typically need XL or XXL gloves but I can wear these in L and the XL is almost loose but still wearable.
