ease to install

After searching the internet I found this item and purchased it. The removal of the existing threshold was far more difficult than installing my new one, I'm an amputee and in a wheel chair and I completed it by my self in about 2.5 hours, so it has my highest approval rating, a great product.

Don’t use to replace the threshold of an existing door

Unfortunately it says nowhere in the product description that this has to be installed in a prehung door before installing the door. I am replacing the threshold of an existing door. Yes, I suppose I could try to pry off the vinyl piece and drill my own holes to attach it to the concrete but why couldn’t they have just called it out more in the description? Frustrating.

I wasn't able to find these in any hardware store around or canadian tire for that matter. My front door was not pre hung and I easily installed this without trouble to replace a rotted out door sill. Very happy with purchase
