Cleans better than anything I've ever tried

For anyone else with a front load washer you probably know the struggle: leaving the door open, emptying the reservoir, cleaning the rubber ring. My washer got so funky that even runs on hot with vinegar weren't cutting it. One cycle with a tablet made my washer smell brand new. No more stinky washer. Buy this.

Effectively removed the odor from our front loading LG washer.

This product has returned my front-load washer to smelling fine. Previously wiped down inside drum, wiped gaskets, left door open, and emptied drain pump but smell kept returning. Bleach and vinegar didn’t work either. However, no stink after using Rejuvenate cleaner.

Yes, they really do work (but maybe not as you expect)

Yes, these work. No, they don't work like you might think they do. Most of us use too much detergent in the washing machine. We tend to add a cap of detergent, when most machines (especially front loaders) only require detergent to the first line in the cap, which is just a fraction of a cap (why don't the detergent manufacturers make this clearer, or make smaller caps??). Over time, the excess detergent leaves a film around the inner parts of the washer, and that film provides a base for stinky stuff to grow on. Running an empty load with bleach will kill the mildew on the surface and make the machine smell better ... for about a week. Tablets like this dissolve the layer of detergent residue so there's nothing for the smelly stuff to grow on. It's a longer lasting solution. If you've never used cleaning tablets like this before, and your machine is smelly, you'll probably have to run a cycle with a tablet, then wipe down everything you can reach (including around the rubber seals), then running another cycle with another tablet. It may take 2-3 cycles to get rid of the film layer. Then you can run a bleach cycle to kill any remaining exposed baddies. After that, you can go to once a month maintenance. And leave the door open between loads. I've used several different brands of tablets (Affresh, Rejuvenate, generic) and they all seem to work about the same.

Squeaky clean for $$$

The media could not be loaded. I have a new washer and I wanted to maintain it in new condition. I recently used one of these tablets when I received an alert from my washer to clean it. My washer recommends running a "clean" cycle without any clothes every few months. I simply placed one tablet in the drum and ran the machine. It took a little while for the tablet to dissolve but it did dissolve completely. It really created a lot of foam, and there was a lot remaining in the drum by the time the cycle was done. I had to run an extra rinse cycle to clear out the foam. It left a light clean scent in the washer. I couldn't tell whether it cleaned the inside parts where I could not see, but it certainly smelled good. At the current price of over $2.60 per tablet, I think its a bit pricey to clean your washer when a little bleach could do the trick. Perhaps if you have not cleaned your washer in a long time, this would probably work well for a deep clean. Otherwise, I would look for cheaper alternatives.
