USB cable security protection

When I read about how hackers are trying to steal data through public charging stations, the bought this immediately for my kid’s traveling outside the US. It seems to have worked for them and they were glad to have it and have a peace of mind. I got the delivery quickly and just in time for their trip.

It's like a condom for your cellphone!

If you decide to cheat on your charger with another power source make sure you use protection! This cable will stop malicious things in public USB ports from infecting your phone. A must have for any traveler!

Nice cable but did not work for my application

I can't say anything negative about this cable. There doesn't seem to be much standardization around USB 'charge only' cables though so your mileage may vary if it works as planned.

Great cable if you do not want data transfer

My wife and I both have newer Toyotas and get a message about an app that isn't even available to install anymore every time we plug our phones in to charge. This cable was the solution. Just charging. No more useless message.

I’m so glad I bought these. I love the way they’re packaged!

It was easy to open them and take them out and plug them in plus everything fit. Perfect as I ordered. I feel a lot better because the router I use is not my router. I know they have good security but it’s nice to have this. Oh, is it nice to have this!

Use in public area

It is lot of scam activity nowadays, I prepare to use it in airport, hotel or coffee shop area to charge my iphone or tablet when travel in the future for safety issue.

充電速度が遅いです

5V、2.4A（最大12W）出力に対応と説明にありますが、380mA程度でしか充電出ませんでした。抵抗は1300mΩ程ありました。いくつかある急速充電器や2.4A対応のUSBハブに付けてみましたが、結果は同じです。データ通信はしっかりとカットされているのでよかったですが、これではきついです。同時に購入した micro-b タイプの方も同様の結果でした。
