Different use than designed for

The beverage holes in our new recliner were too deep for things like coffee cups, whiskey glasses, etc. So I bought a set of these....drilled a 3/4 inch hole in the bottom for east removal and put them upside-down in the cup holders. Perfect.

Sizes have slightly different diameter below rim

I bought these for a table with 2 15/16 inch holes. The 3 in deep holders fit well with just enough play that they moved around a tiny bit and easily went in and out. Then I realized I needed a shorter depth for one so I ordered the 2" depth. That one fits in nice and snug, doesn't move at all and has just the right amount of resistance going in and out to be secure and not come out with a cup. Both sizes measure 2 7/8 diameter at the bottom, and I would say the 3" deep ones are also 2 7/8 right under the rim. The 2" deep seems to be 2 15/16 under the rim.

Good but

The only thing I don’t like are the small holes in the bottom. Condensation, spills, leaks will all go through the small holes in the bottom.

nice cupholders

I put them in a console without cupholders by drilling out the cover to the console. They work great, but are for cups or larger water bottles. A bit loose for skinny water bottles.

Great price but not so good quality

I loved the product and the price. I have 3 installed on my Jon boat. Unfortunately with just the summer heat one stated to deform.

only good for cans

won't fit a 20oz bottle which is kind of sad because that is what I use. it is deep enough to fit a can just over half way though and seems to be pretty decently made

Exactly as decribed

This item is exactly as described in the listing. I used it to create a cupholder in a wooden sofa tray. After drilling the hole, this item fit perfectly. Side note: I added a bit of glue around the edge to hold this item in place in the sofa tray, just to ensure it stays put after installation. So far, so good!

These are thick hard plastic which is good for my purpose.

The rim was too wide to fit in my console so I had to trim off about an 1/8 inch and now they fit perfect and look like originals.
