Good Stuff
Works well for strays and is one of the best smelling beard balms I've used. It does leave a little bit of a greasy feel even when using a very light amount though. I do wish the smell lasted longer.

Worth a try, IMO.
Bought this after being turned on to their hair product by my Barber. The beard maintenance marketplace is getting new products quite often these days and picking a reasonable product for a fair price is becoming difficult. REUZEL beard balm is priced high, but I have received compliments while wearing it. So, the cost feels worthwhile enough to purchase it again. I use the blow dryer to warm and soften the product before application. This was more effective than placing on my beard cold. Once I found this trick, I enjoy the product more...

Overall pretty good product
This beard balm has a decent fragrance. Too much fragrance gives me headaches and this balm has just enough to smell good but not be over powering and the the bride likes the fragrance as well. The hold could be better but it's surly not bad. The balm goes on very sticky but soaks in after about an hour and leaves my beard feeling soft with no residual product feel that retains a decent hold throughout my day. I use a large pea sized amount for my medium 2 to 3 inch length beard. Price could be better but overall a good product.

This is a great scent.
I really like this balm, mainly because of the wood & spice scent. It’s actually one of the only scents that doesn’t bother my wife, who is extra sensitive to scents. She likes it a lot, so I’m in.

Ok, this stuff smells good and works good. I gave 4 stars because if I remember correctly. This stuff smells like Royal Crown hair dressing and or Murray's hair dressing in which I could have gotten for a cheaper price and a larger amount. ????

Nice Tin
I bought this because I liked the picture on the tin. The pirate had fire crackers tied to his hair identifying as the notorious Black Beard. I didn’t really know what to expect from a beard balm. At first I applied it to my beard right out of the tin. This didn’t work too well leaving me with white globules interspersed about the beard. Then I tried letting the balm melt in my hands and then putting on the beard. This worked much better and to me smelled pretty good but didn’t last very long. I find Amazon reviews confusing because the responses are so varied. I most likely will try other products but may come back to this one.

Works and smells great
Found this for my beard, and boy am I happy. Holds and softens my beard very well. After applying the first time I realized it you apply a good amount, it will keep your beard looking good all day.

Would recommend to more people if I knew how to pronounce “Reuzel”
Having spent some time browsing the many, largely indistinguishable, beard balms on Amazon, I settled on this product mostly because of the picture of the pirate on the front of the tin. Imagine then my surprise to find that Reuzel Is in fact a decent beard balm. Smells great, it’s nice to use, not too oily or waxy and has made my beard hair much softer and more manageable. I’ve been growing out my isolation beard for two or three weeks now and was beginning to resemble the guy who lives under the arches by the corn exchange. Thank you Reuzel for helping to placate my wife and suspending indefinitely my sentence of a life lived under the arches by the corn exchange.

The best I have found so far
Tried a lot of different beard balms and this one seems to be the best. The scent is strong but not overwhelming. And the hold is exactly what I was looking for. The texture is almost thick paste. However as all heard balms act, rubbing it into your hands it dissolves. Because it’s a strong hold, you only need a small amount. Too much of this and your beard will become too difficult to comb and loose it’s natural shape because of the overwhelming hold of the balm. What I’ve found with other balms is that it’s too light. Although others have varying different scents and textures, you get a weak hold and it doesn’t allow your beard to stay the shape you want it for very long. This balm is closest contender for that purpose. I have a fairly long beard and the style of mine has changed over the years, now it’s long, with a developed moustache, I have gone for the god of war style beard. Kraytos style. (Or at least it’s getting there) to keep it that shape. You need hold. I don’t think you’ll regret it. ????

More suitable for a baby or my grandma
Do not consider this product unless you want your beard to be frizzy, sharp, sticky and to smell like a newborn or a senior citizen. The Scent - This beard balm smells like a baby product or something my grandma would use. This makes zero sense for a product that is targetted at men with beards The Hold - my beard was more frizzy and sharp and pointy than before applying the product. The Texture - it is sticky and almost like hair wax without the benefits of actually helping you shape your beard.

Scent reminiscent of a morgue
Bought a selection of the sub £10 balms with the best reviews. This was the worst of the four (Bulldog, Prophet, and sophisticated wild. The tin is discoloured so not sure if its been sitting around for ages, but the products is gritty and crystalized (as per pic another reviewer has posted) and while it provides a decent hold, the scent is reminiscent of a morgue. Best so far is prophet (for scent and hold). Bulldog is more a cream than a balm and sophisticated wild smells like talc.

Best beard balm!
Before purchasing this beard balm I was using the regular one from Ruzel. This one has that woody smell and I really like it. It's like an old barbershop smell combined with a touch of moss and pine tones. Although it looks like small packaging it's really dense so it will last for quite a time. When you rub it in your beard it's not too greasy and beard quickly absorbs the balm. According to my girlfriend, it lasts the whole day. CONS: Price! For some reason, it's two times more expensive to buy it from Amazon (regular price is around 13$)
