The Purdy Pro Extra Roller Is A Professional Use Roller

This larger diameter core roller only works with 1-3/4 core covers from Purdy. I have painted many many walls with this roller and have had exceptional results. The difference between this diameter and the standerd diameter 1-1/2 covers is the amount of paint the hold. This 1-3/4 larger core roller when used with a (Purdy White Dove 1.75 core 3/8 Nap Roller Cover) is equal to running a 12 inch roller, only in a 9 inch tray or 5 gallon bucket. The White Dove covers are one of the best and used by many professionals. These larger diameter covers spin slower when rolling and have very minimal spatter, very lightwieght and run smoothly. Some have complained about the squeak noise after several uses. To fix this simply squirt a few drops of any liquid dish soap into both ends of the bearings and no more squeak. You can use immediately applying soap but and after a few days the soap will dry forming a film that will last a very long time. I would highly recomend the Purdy Pro Extra Roller. ☆☆☆☆☆

I wanted to love this

I wanted to keep this roller cage, I loved that it was a simple click onto the Purdy extension arm.... BUT, you can't find rollers sleeves for it! Even online they were almost impossible to find. So it's a great product, but it doesn't fit standard rollers and so I returned it

This product is completely useless to most people! It's Doesn't even fit a standard roller cover! So this product is completely useless unless to go find the one and only very specific roller cover for it and everyone that buys it so please don't make the mistake I made and think it's a standard roller cover!

Odd sized roller requires impossible yo find roller sleeves. Returned.

I prefer Purdy products but had to return this odd sized roller since I waited 3 weeks to receive the proper sized sleeves to fit it. The sleeves that arrived were standards sized even though the photo of the product and description said they would fit, nope, 1/4” too small. After losing three weeks had to return the Purdy oversized roller and standard sleeves. Amazon needs to focus on details and stop making product description mistakes, sellers should also be held accountable for their products. THE DETAILS MATTERS and the constant mistakes are careless. We pay for convenience not aggravation and wasted time.

I like many other decorators had high hopes for this product

I like many other decorators had high hopes for this product....BUT as soon as I started seeing this grey mark all over my work I BINNED it. I couldn't get rid of this grey substance that kept coming out from the end of the roller frame near washer. Absolute waste of money. Purdy should rectify this and compensate all affected.

Bad product

After 2 days of use, it broke. First it got stuck making it hard to roll. Thanks with some force since it's hard to roll, the metal broke

what ever you do don't buy this product iam a decorator and have nothing but problems the first day I used it the sleeve would consitaly fall off and grey coming off the metal washer that's on the end of the cage DONT BUY THIS
