Added safety
I don't understand why this isn't standard with the seat, but after watching videos from CPSTs recommending them I bought it. The reviews that say children are putting their feet under the bar aren't installing it correctly. It should be pressed into the seat. I recall a statistic that almost half of all carseats aren't installed properly and this is evidence of this. Uninstall and reinstall over and over again until you become an expert of your seat and make sure you read your manual. If you aren't sure look up your nearest CPST to help troubleshoot any problems you may have or if you're just not sure.

Great! Safety First! You Can Never Be To Safe!
Love this anti-rebound bar. Have it for my rear facing advocate car seat for my daughter. Makes me fell better about her safety. How ever I would of rated a 5 instead of a 4 if the bar would stay intact and click on the carseat properly . What I mean by this, is that it can easily be removed by simply pulling it out when not put up against the seat. Thankfully my car has adjustable reclining seat in the rear and was able to adjust the seat close to the rebound bar so thier is no movement at a good angle. I was aware of this problem from previous videos and comments. Again for those purchasing this Rebound bar, its something new from Britax and its probably still in the process of making it more ideal and innovated for the rear facing carseats, but I'm pretty sure it still does it job and keeps a car seat from rebounding off the seat in the case of a car accident. I would recommend it to any britax carseat owners that have children in rear facing car seats because, You Can Never Be To Safe With Your Little Angels! Safety First!

Felt good about this until….
I felt good about the addition of this bar as the car seat seemed more secure and a lot less likely to hit the back of the seat in an accident. However, after putting my grandchild in it one time, I’m considering returning it. I agree with other reviewers that stated their child could put their feet under the bar. When the car seat is not in a totally upright position, which isn’t comfortable for a sleeping child, the bar has a large amount of space between it and the seat back. My granddaughter put her feet completely under the bar. I feel I followed all instructions, but it would only rest on the back of the seat if the car seat was in that one position. It felt very secure otherwise.

Rebound bar
Bought “used” from Amazon. No issues box it came with a bit beat up maybe that’s why “used” either way looked new no issues fit into child’s car seat. Daughter uses bar as foot rest, I guess better than back of my back seat! Would buy “used” again!

Added safety, easy to deploy
It’s as expected and appears like it would do its job. The open end of the ant-rebound bar which goes near the child slides into the car seat’s frame which is made of tubular metal (steel?). I thought it would pin or lock into place but it doesn’t. With the click-tight closed it is secured. I suppose this makes it easier to add and remove if using a seat occasionally and switching between FF and RF children.

I LOVE the idea so much... Did not realize "convertible" car seats do not include the One4Life car seats! I wish this was available for the One4Life seats, as well!

A must have add on for your Britax
Added this to my Advocate ClickTight seat and I feel that it really increased the safety and stability of the seat. If you don't have this anti-rebound bar installed, you can tip a rear facing car seat forward with a bit of force (like the force that would be experienced during the counter coup movement in a front end crash). This is worth the thirty some dollars that I paid!
