Always Gearwrench quality!

Quality set of crows feet wrenches. A little pricey, but worth the money. I always separate my SAE & metric crows feet sets, put each of them in canvas zippered bags for storage.

Neat Tool

This is a pretty cool tool. I bought this set to change out an O2 sensor that was located in a very tight space. They seem durable, made well, and the 7/8 wrench head that used fit very tightly to the O2 sensor. The only issue that I have with this set is the case itself. For one, there is no lid to fully enclose the tools. Secondly, there is no way to hang the case. I'm an organized person and I like to hang my tools on a peg board. I improvised and used an awl to puncture two holes and thread a wire through so that I could hang it. It may seem trivial to most, but when you spend this kind of money on a set of tools, I believe a full enclosure and a simple handle should be standard.

Worth the money compared to snap on

I must say I was very skeptical with the reviews of this product before purchasing but I personally couldn't be happier. I originally was going to buy a metric and standard set from snap-on, so I priced them out. To my surprise I found that I was going to pay roughly $600 and some change . As much as I would use these I couldn't justify that dollar amount. So I turned to Amazon and I figured I'd give this set a try for way under the snap on price. I've used it a few times on some hard to reach lines on abs modules and I have snuck them in places where I couldn't fit a wrench. I guess you could say for the money even if you find they don't work it's still worth trying out. I find them useful but I don't know if over time they will hold up

Pictured case was not included

Only complaint is the case in the advertised pictures wasn’t included with my order. Product arrived in bags. Pros -Does not flex/expand under high torque -Firm Fastener fitment

Not what was promised

They need to do something about their ad. No molded case. Now I have these things flopping around in my box. ???? Just a way for them to make you by more after the fact. And showing up in a flimsy cardboard box….. Come on Gearwrench.????‍♂️

Good tools for the money

Now that I got a chance to try these out, I thought I'd write a review of my thoughts. First, the wrenches are strong, and seem to be of good quality, about like anything else I've gotten from GearWrench, very good, but if I were a mechanic making a living with my tools, I might spring for something like MAC or Snap-Ons. However, they are precisely made, and the finish is smooth, actually almost too smooth. I have seen other crowfoot wrenches, where the part of the jaw that contacts the flats of the nut, are slightly textured, making them more slip resistant, which is about the only improvement I can think of for the tools themselves. For a slightly rounded nut, or especially a hose fitting (where it doesn't always keep its shape rigidly) the mirror-smooth finish of the contact flats can sometimes be a negative. On the bright side, they clean up easily, and so far sho no signs of 'spreading' in use. The plastic organizer they come in, could use some improvement, though. It is way to 'thick' for what it does. It is too bulky to fit conveniently in a toolbox drawer, but has no cover to keep the tools clean, if used as stand-alone storage. Simply slimming down the case, or adding a lid (either one would be fine) would be a big improvement.

Missing blow molded tray

I received my wrenches today. They seem to be decent enough quality wise but I haven't used them yet. The problem is the description clearly states "sturdy blow mold tray locks the tools securely in place" and "What's in the Box: 3/8-inch, 7/16-inch, 1/2-inch, 9/16-inch, 5/8-inch, 11/16-inch, 3/4-inch, 13/16-inch, 7/8-inch, 15/16-inch, and 1-inch wrenches with blow molded tray". They came in a simple cardboard box.

Fantastic with some modifications

Good quality for cost based on other insanely priced brand names. I've used Gear Wrench tools with good results in the past for locomotive maintenance. Only pitfall is lack of indentations to lock them onto ratchet. I set them up in my mill and cut my own with good results. Probably would have been fine without, but it's a feature I have grown to like and the machining only took me a few minutes to accomplish. I also put them onto a socket bar for compact storage and threw out the goofy tray they came with. Overall, I was able to successfully effect the repairs I needed them for and I'm satisfied!

Not bad but not snap on

I like the kit except for one cost cutting issue. There is no detent or hole cut into the side to hold the tool on your ratchet or extension. You have to rely on the spring behind the ball to press hard against the inner wall to hold it on. Hence easier to fall off. Little things can be bigger issues.

Se muestran con un estuche que fue lo que me motivó a comprarlas, en realidad solo vienen en una caja de cartón además las que me mandaron se nota que están usadas tiene rayones y marcas muy peculiares de cuando ya fueron usadas Muy seguro las tendré que regresar. No afecta en nada su funcionamiento posiblemente ya sepan trabajar solas La cuestión es el engaño en la publicidad de parte de Amazon!

Not as advertised

The product clearly states blow mold tray for storage which is why i purchased this set came in cardboard no tray.

Happy with the product and the shipping was fast. Was disappointed in how they arrived, without a tray. Unfortunately, this item comes with false information. Bought 2 as you can see in pictures SAE and metric, now have 21 loose pieces.

Good for occasional use.

These are pretty good, but certainly not as well made as snap-on or matco is. These might slip before a top brand would, but for occasional use they are certainly adequate, and far cheaper.
