Great for grilling nonfat food

I cooked lamp chops and the fat caused the craziest flare ups because it’s such a. Small grill it must have all accumulated pretty quickly. Also, you only get good grill marks on the center part of the grill grates where it’s closed. Anything cooked on the outer exposed parts looked steamed

Very good, as a portable/tabletop grill

Excellent as a portable grill to easily pack up and take it to a park, beach or campsite. Also good as a home grill on a apartment balcony as I use mine. Good heat generated and pretty good temperature control is possible. It could be better if the lid included a temperature gauge. I bought one at Lowes and drilled a hole in the lid to install my own. Clean up is easy as well.

Another piece of Chinese junk

Like most small portable gas grills this has no height adjustment from the flame so mine caught fire the first time I used it because of the fat from the ribeye which does not drain into the little pan well at all. No matter the setting you get direct flame on your food i.e. scorched if it goes over the narrow center solid part of the "grill". Gas grills that are large seem to work fine but, these little non adjustable units are best avoided. Instead, I bought a single cast iron burner and some nice pans to skillet cook outdoors. No mess and no burnt food or grease fires.
