Is helpful in a pinch

I bought this to have the P0 Phillips screwdriver size. Everything else was "extra" to me. That being said... sadly, I think the sockets will be gone before I have the chance to use them. They do not stay on the product very well. They often fall off as I'm using one of the screwdrivers.

A nice looking tool

Take a close look at the tools offered in this 12-in-1 repair tool to make sure this is what you're looking for. Not everyone is going to need 4 different sized Philips heads or three different sized flat head screw drivers. This tool does not include any hex wrenches. The socket wrench included with this kit lost it's retaining ball the first time I used it so now all the sockets easily fall off the wrench. Also the 10 mm socket allows the wrench to pass completely through it, none of the other sockets allow this. It is also worth knowing that when all of the tools are folded back into the case, if the flat heads are on the outside of the tool their sharp edges are exposed and could snag on clothing or scratch skin. To avoid this, fold in the flat heads into the center of the tool first. My first impressions of this tool aren't all that great to be honest. With the socket wrench loosing it's ball the first time I used it and the concerns over getting scratched by the flat heads, I'd rather leave this in my toolbox than keep in my pocket during a ride.

Good as a multi-tool for anything but bicycles!

The size is compact and the construction is decently solid, so why am I being critical? It's because this is advertised as a multi-tool for bicycles, except it's mostly useful for anything but bicycles! - Flat screwdrivers: 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm. - Phillips screwdrivers: PH0, PH1, PH2, and PH3. - Four sockets: 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, and 10mm. - A quarter inch square drive for the sockets. - A small carabiner clip. Most conspicuously lacking are Allen wrenches (aka hex keys); 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm are the most common, but a wider range would be even more helpful. Without these, it's simply not helpful as a bicycle tools. Buy this for minor work around the house or perhaps furniture assembly, but do not buy this for bikes. 3 stars.

it’s a multi-tool but it’s not really a *bicycle* multitool

I have no idea why Amazon is marketing this as a bicycle tool. The most important tool for bike work is a set of allen keys, and this has none of them. It doesn’t have anything for cracking a chain or removing a cassette. It’s actually hard to imagine any bicycle repair for which this would be useful. It has seven different kinds of screwdrivers but even the smallest will be too large for adjusting most front derailleurs. And it has a set of four sockets for whatever reason. They’re basically loose on the tool and I suspect that if you use this much they’ll soon be lost. Three stars because it’s worth throwing in a drawer in case you need a screwdriver someday. Don’t buy it for your bike though.

4 and a Half-ish

(4.5) My husband is the one with the bike, he uses it as his to and from work everyday transportation so he's the one who gave me the review for it. His thoughts are... Very attractive looking tool in red. This is an ergonomic tool in that I have big hands and the size I grip feels like it was crafted for my hand. It's a Swiss army knife for bikes. Seven screw drivers swing out on hinges on one side and there is a socket wrench set with three sizes. Extremely handy device, well though out and importantly, it's compact. Can go in a pocket, pouch, and it also has a sturdy carabiner clip. I would be careful about using the clip if you ride with it exposed as you might lose some of the socket. They are pressed onto these rubber prongs.

Good product for a unique product

This AmazonBasics 12-in-1 Bicycle Repair Multi-Function Tool was a little bigger and much better quality than I was thinking it would be and was a pleasant surprise. The 12 tools in this are thick and strong, and you get a good basic variety of them not only for bicycle repair; but also just for having commonly used tools on hand in one handy little gadget. Everything is sturdy and well made, and it's stable when you're using it to fix something. I am going to give this as a gift for someone who likes bikes or has everything and needs an extra handy tool to have on hand. Very nice to put in the car or toolbox.

Great Little Bike Tool Set, but Sockets are Metric.

This is a handy little tool to take along on bike trips. It's pretty compact and has a lot of necessary tools for changing tires, tightening handle bars, tinkering with the gears, and so on. The only thing is the sockets are Metric. Most American bike parts are Standard, but you can replace the sockets w/Standard if you want/need to. This tool seems well made and durable, but the tool has a bit of heft to it. You would definitely want to carry it in a bike bag or fanny pack. This will make a great stocking stuffer for my teen daughter. She was just fixing her bike a few days ago with her father so I know she'll appreciate having this tool.

A useful tool for anyone with a bike, some parts fall out easily though

This is a useful tool that is handy for bicycle maintenance. I don't bike as often as I used to in my youth, but I do ride my bike around in the summertime for nearby errands. As a casual biker, I find that this covers most of my basic tool needs for my bike. The sockets (I think that is the name of the cylindrical tools) tend to fall out of their spots, but I put the multi-tool in a drawstring bag so I won't lose any of them. I do my own basic bike maintenance, but if anything major ever happens, I take my bike to the shop for professional maintenance. This tool is good for my needs.

Not fit for purpose

Doesn't actually have any Alan Keys or other tools you need to be able to do anything to your bike. Great for other things and looks ok.
