Excellent Retrofitting Fixtures
These are excellent lights for retrofitting older high-hat fixtures. They look great and the light they provide is quite an improvement.

Replaced my CREE lights with these.
I replaced our Cree lights with these. They are a fraction of the cost and a lot easier to install. However, the Cree lights turn on faster with these Philips taking a split second slower. This does not bother me, but it does knock a star off. With that said, will I continue to buy these...absolutely. Oh yeah, they dim perfectly and they do not flicker!

Easy to install - all work great
I've bought this pack of lights a couple of times to replace all of the old can lights around my house. The process was very easy; if you can replace a lightbulb, you can change out your can lights for these. The hardest part was taking out the old can light cans, but not too bad. When installing these, I recommend screwing in the socket first, then attaching the wire-clip between the socket and the light, but that's just a personal preference.

Well made, easy to install, good light and overall color
I purchased these to replace the compact fluorescents in recessed cans in the hallways. I chose these as they were a little less bright than the 75W equivalent because I didn't want glaringly brightly lit hallways. Thes lenses on these are barely recessed so they work well in areas with low (normal) height ceilings by providing a more distributed light rather than a focused light. Installation was very easy. Just remove the existing flood lamp, reflector cone and retaining ring from the can. Screw the adapter cable into the socket, unfold the metal springs to the correct amount for the diameter of the can and shove the light into the can with a slight twist to get the springs to grab the sides of the can. They sat nice and flush with the ceiling which made for a clean installation. Overall light output is excellent and slightly 'soft' white in color. My only gripe is that they are not quite instant on. Perhaps a 0.5 second delay - slightly annoying but not enough for me to return them and better than many other led lights that can sometimes have a 1-2 second turn on delay. These lights do not work well with some electronic dimmers. I tried them in one location with a touch sensitive electronic dimmer and they would not turn off. They stayed lit at a very low light level so you may need to change any electronic touch sensitive dimmers in order to fully turn these lights off. I would buy them again for general lighting for hallways, etc.

Very easy to install
I replaced 40 incandescent can lights in my house with these. Once I figured out a rhythm, each one took less than a minute. They are exceptionally easy to install, so much that I'd say you can do it quickly even if you have no idea what you are doing. I have several of these on circuits controlled by Lutron Skylark LED+ dimmers. I had to adjust the dimmers to the lowest setting (via the side lever) to get them to emit at any semblance of dim. They don't go quite as low as the 65W incandecent bulbs could, but this is expected due to the nature of LEDs so I can't complain. They can also take a few seconds to come on when at a low setting, but again this is expected, and can be worked around by turning them on at full brightness and then dimming as desired. One weird behavior of these lamps is that after a couple of seconds of being powered on at a low setting, they will briefly "pulse" a higher brightness before returning to where they were set. This seems to be a quirk of the circuitry of these particular lights, however it is a minor one. Overall, I can't complain about the quality of the light they emit. There is no change in color temperature while dimming and no visible flicker. The housings themselves also look great -- far better than a BR30 in a can.

Bright and no buzzing
I changed out several switches to a Lutron smart dimmer which caused my older LED lamps to buzz. While these bulbs specifically are not listed as certified on Lutron's site, they had many other Philips products on the list so I figured I'd give them a shot. Happily I can't hear any buzzing from these units and they have great dimming performance. They were also easy to install/replace, I installed all 12 in about 15 minutes. I also prefer the look of these to my older ones, they have a soft slope which makes them almost look like they're blending into the ceiling. I'll definitely be purchasing more sets to use for my other dimmers throughout my house.

Nice lights!
Our recessed lights were getting nasty so I thought I would try these. Hubby was skeptical but I’m always happy to buy and try things! lol! They came packaged very well, no issues there. There are stickers in the box we are supposed to put on the lights which was easy to do, and had something to do with Canadian safety regulations. The install was super easy and took no time at all. It took more time to take out the old one than to put in the new one and took about 2-3 minutes per replacement. They look way better than the old ones did and are nice and bright. Any of them installed on a dimmer need a new dimmer switch installed due to electrical jargon I wasn’t paying attention to when my hubby explained it to me. (He’s an electrician from back in the day). Morning after, one of the lights wasn’t working. So I checked out the warranty and contacted Phillips. They were super to deal with and sent me an email with the requested info to send back to them. They are issuing me a refund for the amount of one of the lights, which will probably take a few weeks but that’s okay I’m just happy to get good customer service and my money back. All the others are still working well! I will definitely order more to have on hand as I highly doubt the claim for the lengthy lifetime. I’m quite satisfied with and product and warranty!

Easy to install
One drawback is we are limited to one LED colour spectrum of 2700K. It is a little too "yellowish". If it can be adjusted like the other LED pot lights in the market with 5 selectable colours that would be fantastic!
