LED is great but not all bulbs are the same
You need to be careful when buying LED bulbs because they are not all the same, not even close sometimes. I did a lot of reading and searching and Phillips always seemed to hit home as a solid buy, everywhere I looked. Couldn't always find them, but if you wait, the deal and the bulbs themselves would show up. I bought many from Amazon here and quite a bit at the big orange store. One thing to note is that there are MANY different versions of what you would think is the same bulb. I am not positive, but I think this has something to do with the age of the bulb and revisions in the electronic. Not positive. I bought a ton of Phillips bulbs, mainly 60w and 75w equivalent and some 40w. Then I bought recessed can bulbs, floods and a number of specialty like candelabra and small sizes. I have lost one bulb and it was one of these. No idea what happened, just didn't turn on one day. One note of things different with the bulbs is that if you want to encase the bulb lets say in a fan light and the light is enclosed in a frosty dome or something, they need to be rated to be able to be recessed/enclosed. If not, they will get hot and burn up. It will tell you on a Phillips box. After doing my whole home, my power bill has stabilized enough that I can see the difference by charting one year before and after. Same occupancy and even though we have grandchildren over now with every know light on for their safety, we are still quite a bit lower. I use a Schneider Electric called Sense, which you can find here on Amazon. I can track every single item that pulls power and the Sense device can pull resonance from down the line. I can see the difference and it is worth it. One last thing to remember: Dimmers. Some dimmers are labeled as "not for LED" essentially meaning, incandescent. The key is, the LED has a power transistor in the bottom and this needs a little kick to get this going. Best thing, use the proper dimmer. If not, turn the light up to kick it over and then dim it back down. Once the circuit is humming, you should be good. Do not dim too low if you are using these bulbs with the wrong dimmer. I would buy these bulbs again but I have plenty of spares. :)

These are not the bulbs I ordered
The description for the bulbs I ordered included "8.5W=60W", but these are rated "10W=60W". Also, these bulbs are a slightly different shape from the ones I ordered. I cannot compare the model numbers of the bulbs, because Philips does not put the model number on their bulbs. The reason the shape matters is that I have six of the bulbs I thought I was ordering in a bathroom light fixture that exposes the upper half of each bulb, and I was going to use these as replacements for a couple of the original bulbs that went bad after several years, but the shape difference is noticeable next to the other bulbs. The difference in power consumption isn't that big a deal, but I thought I was getting bulbs that were at least as efficient as the ones I was using, but the additional power consumption of these is a step backwards. I'm disappointed in Amazon, because the bulbs I received are not the same as the ones I ordered. If I weren't trying to match the bulbs I already had, it wouldn't be that big a deal (other than the almost 20% greater power consumption). If I was just looking for 60W-equivalent LED bulbs, I wouldn't have bothered ordering Philips bulbs that matched the specs of the ones I had.

Long lasting bulbs!
I'm here looking for brighter LED bulbs and remembered that I bought these back in 2016! These bulbs have lasted 7 years! If you like to save money and need some soft white bulbs, these are the perfect ones. I recommend these any day...or night. ;)

Seems to be as great as advertised!!
I purchased the 4 watt LED (60W incandescent replacement) 800 lumen 3000k model 2 pack of Philips Ultra Efficient LED bulbs. Tested them with a smart plug that details power consumption and they seem to draw 3.9 Watts each and they are brighter than my other 800 lumen LED bulbs I've had for a few years. Assuming they last even close to the claimed 50,000 hours then they seem like some of the best LED bulbs I could find on the market with energy prices being so high lately!! I would definitely recommend them and will be buying more. The 3000k (Bright white) color seems accurate, it's a nice and warm color. The construction seems more sturdy than I expected, and the glass seems thicker than many other LED bulbs I've bought. I bought these to use with a camping/emergency battery power station so I'd have plenty of light for hours and they are so nice I think I might just replace all the bulbs in my house with them.

Cheap LED bulbs with a nice warm color
These bulbs are priced great and are the exact color I was looking for. They are a nice warm color and match my 2700k temperature ceiling lights. I am very pleased with them so far and hope it lasts the advertised burn time.

Poorly packaed for shipping.
I like the product fine. What I am not impressed with is how it was shipped. I ordered this item along with another 4 bulbs of a lower voltage. Both were shipped in a simple brown shipping envelope (no bubble wrap or padding of any kind}. They arrived with the factory packaging of both, damaged. Fortunately the bulbs were not broken. Whether they all are undamaged internally as well remains to be seen, until I screw them into a light socket.
