A big plus for a base line shirt.

Its a nice baseline shirt. being a half zip 2.0 (thiner then the 4.0) it worked perfect as a baseline under the 4.0. I'm out everyday in weather below zero right now and the Terramar shirts (s) since I have both, wear well, and not too bulky to be under a jacket. The material moves with my body, stays in place as in long enough to cover my backside. Under a jacket the sleeve doesn't bunch up. The 2.0 has the thumb hole which can be used or not. Having the extra long sleeve with the thumb hole is nice for driving as the steering wheel in the car is quite cold when I start it up. The shirt washed well, dried quickly.

Sizes run small!

The 3xl size I ordered was barely big enough. I really liked the light weight, thin stretchy material. Thumb loops, 1/2 zip, and more, were all things that I liked. I didn't expect a "fitted" style in 3xl size.

A Base Layer, NOT a Jacket as Advertised

I got this for my husband and have several Terramar base layer products myself. These Climasense base layer products by Terramar are very good. They provide a good base layer for winter activities. This product is NOT a jacket, but a base layer half zip. This is meant to wear under a mid layer and outer layer. Whoever wrote the advertising for this for Amazon was not accurate and does not know about technical clothing for winter like activities. That said, the product is very good, providing a warm, stretchy layer to be worn under more layers of clothing when outside. The half zip provides temperature regulation as you build up heat from exertion and don’t want sweat to chill you when you slow down your outdoor exercise routine. Therefore, you open the zip to release excess heat buildup. I would give this five stars except for the false advertising which calls it a jacket. It is not.

Good quality good price

I ride a road bike and the cold wind would always find it's way up my sleeves. That does not make the ride enjoyable .Having the thumb holes , layering according to the weather and wearing gloves made a huge difference. I would buy a size up . I think if you are a runner the jersey will be fine in the colder temperatures. Bike riding you'll still need to layer. Yes I would buy this again.

Nice Base Layer

For the money, this is a nice shirt. Please note: The arms are very long and the shirt tail is very long. This isn't a problem for me. I tuck it in, so the extra length helps. I am 6'3" and I ordered a large. The size is correct with the exception of very long arms and long shirt tail. If you are ok with that, it it a nice shirt.

Great light weight base cover

I purchased for the sole purpose of skiing. I've used it a few times now since Christmas and it has been wonderful. I usually ski with three layers - this shirt, turtle neck or sweater, and light weight coat/shell. I found on the warmer days (35-40 degrees), I can go with two layers - this base and the sweater. I especially like the thumb holes that the other readers wrote about. I found the thumb holes very helpful when putting the sweater on over the shirt and when adding gloves to the outfit. Overall, I highly recommend it. It breathes very well - doesn't getting sweaty or wet when I start to get warm. I also like the zipper on the collar, I would unzip the collar when taking a break from skiing or if it was warm weather. I didn't find the zipper bothersome at all.

Good for back sweating

Perfect for my base layer for bicycle riding. Warm in the front, ventilated in the back. I produce a lot of moisture so this helps! The large is a snug, tight to the body fit for me - very comfortable as it stretches.

Terramar Pull Over (+++++)

I own 10 of these. You will not find a better base layer or layer period. I literally will wear these and an outdoor vest. They are that casual and comfortable. *Snow Skiing *Running *Biking *Hiking *Golf I've done just about everything in these. AND for you guys...the Men's Undies are off the chart as well!!
