Exc product but too narrow based in the description.

Well made pulley with swivel. I thought I ordered one with a 1/2 inch space in the pulley for an extension cord. The one I received (item no. 3201BC 1/2" , N243-568) is too small, has about 3/16 inch space for a cable), but I will keep it for another project. Now I will call national hardware directly, and talk with a tech person, to get the correct size for a half inch O.D. extension cord. The descriptions don't get you there.

Won't rotate easily over about 2 pounds

The construction on this is ok. I needed a pulley that could hold 10 pounds, and this one DIDN'T do the job. I bought a 1 1/2" pulley instead. That being said, I think this pulley would work fine for up to 2 pounds or so.

Don't believe the dimensions or the picture - this is toy sized - not at all useful for my needs

When it said 1/2", I thought that was the size of rope it would accept. It was not. The photo on my 14" lap top was more than twice as large as the actual pulley, which is the size of an earring. I bought them to use in my garage, to lift items to the ceiling. No way. The warning attached to the pulley says, "Do not use for overhead lifting. Load limit 9 lbs. The photo should have stated that it was "enlarged for clarity. Actual product is 1/3 this size." It looks more like something one would wear as a decoration on one's lapel. I can't imagine a use for this - and I have 4 of them now... I feel like I've been hornswoggled...or some such.

1/2 inch swivel yes but way to small this might work for 1/8 inch line

Good little pulley

Not really sure how strong these things are, but I haven't broken 1 yet. I'm using them for a pulley system I made for a lid to my chicken coop. Been up for about 4 months and not a single issue yet. I would buy this again if I needed more

Hardly seems like this is hardware. It's more like jewelry it;s so bright and smooth. One-eighth nylon cord just slips through this small pulley like an express train. It's almost a shame that it will be put to duty outdoors but I'm sure it will give me years of service.

perfect and authentic pulley

Very cute and a worthy addition to our Toy Wooden Treehouse. It's an authentic metal pulley just like the larger models and can pull up a few pounds of things - what more is there to say.
