Melt in your mouth roast

Why put a picture of the product.....put a picture of the result. I vacuum packed a cheap Walmart beef roast with a sliced onion and some garlic. Dropped it in a bucket of water, set it at 140° for 48 hrs. Pulled it out salted and seared it. This cheap roast was perfect. The texture of the meat wasn't mushy like a crock pot roast. It wasn't dry like an oven roast. You could hold this behind your head and your tongue would beat you to death trying to get to it. The mega chef sou vide operated perfect. Super easy to use and amazing results. I'm doing a corned beef brisket right now and I cant wait for it to finish. The only thing lacking is some recipe suggestions with it, but there's plenty on YouTube and pinterest.

A Good Sous Vide Stick

This sous vide stick arrived a few days ago and I’ve now completed my first use. The manufacturer offers an extended warranty (from 90 days to one year) for submitting a review, and I’m glad to do so, as I’ve developed a favorable impression of this product. I had the sous vide stick running continually for 48 hours to make a batch of yogurt. It was easy to use; it maintained an accurate and consistent temperature (I had my own kitchen thermometer also in the water for the entire time); and the operation was nice and quiet (just a gentle hum). My two complaints are that the cord, at 54”, is too short for my kitchen set-up (I had to use an extension cord, which I would prefer not to do for a heating device), and that even with Prime delivery, it took over a week to arrive. I highly recommend this product.

Nice, no frills, basic, value sous vide

It's cheap. It works. It has what you need. Set time and temp, with temp being pretty accurate. Giving 5 stars to reflect value for money. Assuming that the $250 models will be better, but this one works just fine.

My Sous-vide is making yogurt!

This little machine makes perfect yogurt without the additives most store bought yogurt has in it. I’m impressed with how easy it is to use and I look forward to Many more foods to try with it

Works great but...

Works great, very accurate temperature and quiet operation. However, the motor has started whining loudly about 6 or 7 months in, which is really unappreciated. We'll see what the company says about that. *****Update: Their customer service has been quick to reply and easy to work with.
