Perfect for me

Pro tip: y’all, do not hammer those wood peg cover things in before you’ve screwed in every screw!! I made a huge mistake at one point and it was hard to undo because I did that. It was my fault because I made assumptions about what order to do things in and didn’t read the directions fully. Otherwise these were easy to set up and the directions were good. Pros: 1. Perfect height for my counter! Make sure to measure for your needs and look up online the optimal height of stool for your counter. I almost got taller ones and I’m so glad I didn’t!! 2. The metal plates on the footrest to prevent scuffing— nice! 3. I primarily got these because they’re white and also because they’re thin. My counter ledge is not wide so I didn’t want a big ol’ chair popping out from it & obstructing the walkway. I love that these slide under my counter ledge nicely. 4. The pads for the bottom of the feet! Nice!! Helps to prevent floor scratching. 5. Affordable!!! Cons: 1. Since they are white they’re prone to scuffing & denting so you shouldn’t get white if you have kids. But I’m single, gentle, and clean so it’s fine for me. One incurred a lil dent on top after I sat on it. About the size of a finger nail, must have been a weak spot in the wood, but it’s ok. The others haven’t done that. (I got 4.)

The included screws are weak, and the seat top isn't as curved as it appears.

I have a kitchen island that is 15 feet long and will seat. It will seat nine comfortably and fourteen if you squeeze them in. We have five chairs for the island but I wanted a couple of extra seats that you could pull out when needed so I got these. They fit under the island counter and aren't in the way. When you need one or two extra seats you can just pull them out. To assemble them I used tightbond wood glue and my impact driver with the proper hex bit. The first problem is that the screws they ship with are pretty weak and it doesn't take much torque to break them. My impact driver broke two of them on the first stool I assembled. I used finish-head wood screws on those two just to make sure they were fastened securely. For the second chair I used a drill instead of the impact driver, and I set the clutch on it 4 or 5 so that it'd be pretty soft with the screws. That prevented me from breaking any screws on the second chair. I've been working with wood for decades and rarely break screw heads off using an impact driver. I think these screws are made from aluminum or something else very soft. Also the seat looks like it's carved saddle-like in the listing, but it's pretty flat. Overall it's a pretty uncomfortable seat, but in my case they're just used as extras from time to time so it's OK.

Great for the price

I bought these for the kids to sit at the counter at my new apartment and I’ve actually used it more than them lol. It is very sturdy -so far. I weigh around 140 & use them daily and no wiggling or wobbling as of yet. Only been in use for a few weeks though so. Still a great deal.

Almost perfect

All the parts was in the box, Went together easily (barely had to look at the directions (I'm a IKEA put together pro! lol) BUT! a couple of the wood peaces had small scrapes on a couple pieces. Strange because they seemed well packed. Must of happened at the factory? Would of gotten 5 stars.

Need padding

They are the perfect "counter height" for my craft room however, they are uncomfortable which I will admit is my fault. I never thought a little bit of padding would make such a difference, especially considering I already have some of my own padding but after sitting for a while working on a project, I HAVE to get up and move or shift. They are very sturdy and light weight for how well they're made, so also very easy to move around if you want to get up and move over a little bit for a different angle on something. They were also very easy to put together, I was able to by myself with no problems. I recommend these for the price and how sturdy they are, but if you want to be able to sit for a while I would definitely suggest getting one with some cushioning.

Very good quality for the price!

I wasn't expecting them to be so heavy. They're perfect for my small coffee bar and provide extra seating in the dining room. Super easy to assemble. Definitely recommend.

Attractive Saddle Seat Stool

The two stools I ordered came in a compact package, with one enclosed tool (a hex key) and clear diagrams for assembly. I'm not very adept, but I managed to put the parts together in about 15-20 minutes. They are 2 feet high and very stable. I plan to use them as bar stools.

You get what you pay for.

My needs were for a couple of bar stools that would be seldom used that didn't cost a lot. These stools fit that bill but if you are looking for something with a touch of class and quality then move on from these. They live up to the description Amazon Basic, very plain but functional. I will add that assembly will have its problems for many. The legs, are secured to the seat and supports by screws that require an Allen wrench/key. The wood is a hard wood, so screwing in the screws is very difficult using the supplied Allen wrench. If you have no other choice but to use the wrench provided then I suggest turning the screws on a bar of hand soap (getting soap on the threads) before attempting so screw them in. The soap acts as a lubricant and makes it easier. I did have one leg with damage with some deep grooves, that would appear to me as being caused by the blade from a circular saw coming into contact with the leg. Also the staining of the wood was done very poorly, some areas appeared to have been missed. Like my headline - You get what you pay for.

Is sturdy and looks good

It is sturdy and looks good. The steel rods provided on the foot rest are very convenient and simple and effective design update balancing the weight in the process. IT is not super light so tugging it along across places can be a pain. But if the stool stays at the same place it is super effective and looks good !
