Fit swing

No instructions

This is a very nice cover, well made and it appears durable and water resistant. However, putting a cover on a porch swing is different than putting it over a table. It is anything but intuitive. There were no instructions included for installation. I found instructions on another store's web site.

Swing Cover

This cover seems to protect well only if the swing is taken down and the chains are put inside the cover. It seems to be waterproof but is too early to rate durability. Instructions were not available and it took a little time to put it on the swing.

Perfect design to cover a swing

Usually, I dislike having logos on items I purchase. This might be the only thing I've bought that I wish had a logo to give me a clue where the top or front is. Once I figured out which way the cover needed to face, putting this on the swing and securing it was easy. A zipper and velcro closures allow getting the cover around the swing and the chains. I was able to get the cover on myself and the whole process took less than 10 minutes, including time spent learning what was up, down, front, and back. I think I'm going to use a permanent marker to write "front" on the inside before I put the cover away next spring, so it will be a couple minute operation next autumn. I'm really happy with the quality of the material and the neutral beige color. I bought a different make of cover for a couple rockers and they all coordinate really well.

Too small

While the construction on this seems to be sturdy, it's too small. What a PAIN to put on!! My swing is the right size according to specifications, but wrangling it on is a serious workout—and there's no "give" in the upper panel, so water collects there.

Stellar!

Bought this to cover the swing that my dad made for me while my mom was still pregnant with me. It’s now over 40 years old so it’s is very important to me that it stays protected. The cover is excellent! Fits perfectly, easy to put on and take off. Rain didn’t penetrate it at all! Couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with my purchase! Thank you!

Great cover

It has worked great for me, I purchased 3 and they all have stayed on and no complaints so far. It's been 4 months . I have a covered pergola but still gets some splash when it rains. Winter is coming ! We will see when it gets here how they do !

Durable but difficult to use!

What I dislike is the way you have to put it on the swing. I ordered one last year from the same company and it had 2 zippers which was way easier...this has one. You have to put the cover under the swing and bring it up over it like you step into a dress. It's not that easy to put on, but it is very durable and waterproof.

Difficult to use, developed mildew spots

The beige outer fabric developed black mildew spots on it, even though it has been really hot and dry here. We had no rain for a month. Fits with room to spare but I have to take the chain down on one side to put it on. There is a zipper but it was made so it doesn't open into the velcro on the sides, so just tricky to put on. Fits perfect though.
