Works good, replace after 6 months.

Good product. Price is a little high but it is what it is I guess. Gets pretty dirty after 6 months so I recommend changing it after 6 months. But do your own check too! See if it needs it. If not, wait longer.

Exact fit

The filter is a Honeywell replacement filter, the model listed is what you receive. Had issues in the past with off brand universal filters that do not have the correct fitment. The price is a little high, Google the model number and you can find it cheaper. I continue to purchase from Amazon as it's easy and do not need to remember to buy it every three months with the auto ship service

Only true Honeywell 16X20X4 actually fit Honeywell Furnaces

Unfortunately, I have tried and tested several non- Honeywell 16x20x4 furnace filter alternatives (most of which are literally $20 cheaper than a single true Honeywell filter) all had terrible leakage and never fit snug, allowing dirty garage air to seep into my otherwise closed loop air system. Even though the offbrands state they are 16X20X4", all had Ilfitting results caused because the filter is about 3.75" tall, not the needed 4.15" which the true Honeywell sports. This true Honeywell filter is actually over 4" tall and fit very snug into my Honeywell filter section of my new furnace.

Honeywell made a big mistake do not buy!! Its 4.4 inches tall not 4 inches so won't fit.

Usually filters are a bit smaller than listed dimensions for a margin of error. I have ordered numerous 16x20x4 filters with no problems till now. I was away and finally came around to installing it except the filter is actually Bigger!! It's 16x20x4.4 inches. Obviously too big so now I'm stuck with a literal paperweight. Seriously Honeywell your suppose to be a good company. List your filters accurately. Obviously don't buy this 16x20x4 from honeywell as it won't fit those dimensions.

questionable filter

The filter that came was partly quashed and looked more like a copy of a Honeywell filter rather than OEM part. The construction of the filter didn't seem as strong and all the markings and print was poor quality and black instead of the OEM colors and quality.

The correct item was delivered.

The correct item was delivered, it arrived before the expected date of delivery. I swapped out the old dirty filter and put the new filter into the Air Handler and turned the system back to normal operation.
