Organize your Garage

Purchased this for my husband to organize his tools in the garage. We already had the peg board so it was easy to install. These are sturdy and priced efficiently.

Many of the hooks would not work in my pegboard.

They work as intended and they seem sturdy. But there are many out of the box that are off by an 1/8 inch or so and they won't go in my board. They were still worth the money as there were many sizes and varieties of hooks and the bigger ones did work. I didn't need all the small hooks so I decided to keep this even though there were many that were not manufactured properly.

Lets see if I can help set the record straight here as there are a lot of conflicting reviews. Simply put, these hooks are a little cheap. The prongs are aligned unevenly on some pieces, the welds are crooked and the screw driver holder had a slight sag in the middle compared to another I own. However, after all that being said, they're also priced fairly for their quality (under 10 dollars). Yes, they are indeed 1/8" hooks, but for the common man/woman these hooks would definitely do the job just fine. If you are looking for stronger hooks, this might not be the set for you. If you are looking for hooks to supplement your existing collection, I'd recommend this product. The set is mainly full of smaller pieces, which is exactly what I was looking for personally. With a few other pieces, I had enough hooks to fill my 4' x 4' pegboard with some left over. I wouldn't use this set to hang heavier tools such as hammers or pipe wrenches, but for every day tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, or small wrenches this will do just fine. Personally, I used them mainly for my wrenches, pliers, putty knives, screw drivers and paintbrushes, but it also held my rubber mallet and spring/bar clamps perfectly. In short, as long as you're not expecting these hooks to stand up to workshop level wear and tear, this set would be perfect for you.

Work for what I use them for

These pegboard accessory hooks are easy to install and even though they are a bit on the light side they work great for what I use them for. I use them in my reloading/gunsmithing room to keep my tools and parts neatly organized and off the work area. This also allows me to grab what I need rather quickly rather than having to hunt through drawers or toolboxes to find what I need. I agree with other reviewers that these aren't the best or the strongest pegboard hooks out there, but they will hold a decent amount of weight without breaking. I have been using the original set I bought from another supplier more than a decade ago and are still being used today. I had to buy a couple more packs of these to accommodate the additional tools and reloading accessories I have obtained over the years. You can't go wrong with these unless you are overloading them with weight and just like any of the others out there if you overload them they will break. This set comes with a nice assortment and the price is definitely right. Pros: easy to use, do what is expected of them, cost, assortment Cons: could be a little more sturdy but not complaining

They just don't stay ON the board

Every time we grab a tool or whatever is hanging on these hooks, the hooks themselves come with it or fall off the pegboard. It's frustrating. First world problems. They should grab better somehow.
