great for a Bearatric Walker

Broke foot ,bought "Drive" breatric Walker at amazon on Sunday night got it Tuesday Afternoon for $68 instead of $250 locally and wait for insurance reimbursement. Later need 2 wheels for therapy, and these Wheels were perfect fit for this walker at $29

Not universal. Not for most walkers.

Made for a very small market. Nearly all walkers have a frame that has a slight "A-frame" type slope to the rails. This means that the outside wheels do NOT contact the ground. They will only make contact if your walker has perfectly vertical frame rails.

Very stable and very safe!

I use a walker in my home along with a power wheel as this allows me to be more independent. I have a bag that carries all my things I need to move from room to room so some days I might just have something light and other times I have a lot of heavy items.. I am a large older lady with post polio so some days I need a to use the walker just to balance myself however other days I can hardly get around so I need something that can hold me up as well as carry things with me. The regular universal wheels work most of the time but when walking on days when I can hardly move the walker is carrying most of my weight which they are not really designed to do. These heavy duty wheels work great as they stand up to anything. I had the regular universal wheels on and found even though I fit the weight limits I felt on my bad days I was not stable enough and now I feel well supported and very safe.Thank you for offering this great product.

I'm pretty sure the cat positioned my walker just so

Not sure why but they just don't work as well as the original wheels that came on my walker which I would not have had to replace had I not somehow managed to drive over one wheel with my car without touching the rest of the walker. I was thrilled and relieved to see it was just a crushed wheel as my initial fear was that it was the cat (which was a totally irrational fear response). In hind sight, I'm pretty sure the cat positioned my walker just so, next to the car so that when I drove out of the garage it would crush the wheel and render it unusable. I'm almost positive I saw her head through the cat door, snickering. She wants me to fall, you guys just don't know. Anyway, they arrived in 2 days (prime yay!) and were easy to install. Maybe the lesser functioning is an alignment issue - it's functional - just not as smoothe as the originals.

Great product that really helps me get around more easily. I have a couple of bariatric walkers (one stays in my vehicle) and was most pleased to find these heavy duty wheels that make my life a lot happier. They support my weight and move smoothly over even rough surfaces. I have found out that using the ski type of glides on the rear legs also helps in freedom of movement with the front wheels. Both the wheels and glides came from an Amazon search and were easy to install and adjust the height of the wheels.

Attached easily to Drive Medical Heavy Duty Bariatric Walker & no issues to date. Pretty pricey though.
