Incorrect Product Details or Erroroneous Shipment?
I received one package and thought 3 more would be coming. I finally realized that one want had 3 others nested closely under it. My error. But I couldn't believe how very small the wands were. Typically the font size for youngsters from Kindergarten is quite large so how could such a small wand allow one to read more than one word? I checked the product details and learned the dimensions of the wand were way off! Here's what the seller, Hand2mind's product details state: • Product Dimensions ‏ : ‎ 0.3 x 4 x 6 inches; 0.35 Ounces • Manufacturer recommended age ‏ : ‎ 5 - 7 years • Item model number ‏ : ‎ 91244 • Manufacturer ‏ : ‎ hand2mind The dimensions of the wands I received were 2 x 3 inches. I like to give the benefit of the doubt to all so perhaps the seller simply shipped me the wrong product rather than purposely overstating the size. I gave 3 stars (a neutral number) as a rating for features I've yet to use with my dyslexic student but took away one star on the overall rating due to inaccurate product details. I may update ratings on features after using this miniture wand with one of my students next week.

Better than the index card from my childhood
My son loves this. It gave him confidence reading a book about with a full page of text. He can focus on a group of words at a time. His teacher was thrilled to hear he was challenging himself with the tool. She is thinking of investing in some of them as well.

Would Be Perfect If it Included More Rings
My 5 year old immediately enjoyed using this and read almost a whole Dr. Seuss book by herself after opening it. My only complaint is that there are so many colors but only one ring. I wish we had multiple so I could keep some at home and some at school without having to buy multiple sets. Or even if they sold them separate that would help.

Good but not for us
These are really neat for helping kids visually track and slow down their reading but unfortunately my son has a lot of fine motor needs as well, which made using these difficult for him

Easy to use at home!vvv
We are constantly looking for “aids” to assist our ten year old grandson when working on schoolwork at home! He has dyslexia and struggles when reading for information for fifth grade work. Now entering sixth grade, we are hoping to be ahead of the game once schools return from the shutdown. He is quite intelligent and learns easily. He is an auditory learner, and it is laborious to read for comprehension. He had rather skip the reading, and listen. This color strip is the best thing we have discovered so far to ward off our stress. Thank you, thank you, thank you! He
