excellent tackle box

These are excellent tackle boxes. the only thing that needs fixing is the closure handles will eventually break. other than that they are great for the tackle. I suggest that when you use these tackle boxes buy some 3x4 inch ziploc plastic bags to put your jig/hooks/baits in and you will not have any rusty hooks. I got this tip from pro anglers who also got tired of rusty hooks that also were tangled by just putting them in compartments. great idea with the plastic bags. tackle is not getting cheaper so any way we can maintain what we have will save us money

Reliable Product

I really like the product. I don’t think it’s worth taking a star away considering the price, but I bought this tackle box to keep an assortment of electrical connectors in at work. I wanted the container to be waterproof so the connectors would have protection in the field. If I let it sit for a day or 2 without opening the seal would stick to the stationary side of the box and would have to be re-seated into the groove. I imagine if I was using this for tackle and fished once a week this wouldn’t be too bad, but I use this everyday to every other day and it continues to fall out. I removed it and added a line of silicon inside the seal track and reseated it. No problems since then. Excellent product especially for the price. Plenty of space very tough feeling and the clips are easy to manage but exert a lot of force on keeping the box closed. You think dropping your tackle is bad. Try dropping around 600 electrical connectors you have to pick up.

If you're an organization nut like I am, these are heaven-sent

If you've ever dropped your fishing gear box with it popping open upon impact, you'll appreciate this Plano box. Not only is it waterproof, the three clasps will keep your lures - and everything else within it - from becoming a jumbled heap on the ground if you drop it. Initially, I purchased one of these to test it out. I now own several of these. All fishing gear (that will fit inside it's ample space) is now stowed within these cases and I have others that are for other purposes - one for my GoPro/Sony/Contour action cameras (cameras and all necessary accessories fit NICELY), one for my quadcopter / drone (accessories, tools, etc), one is a firearm cleaning kit (just about everything required to properly care for your guns), while others are for miscellaneous organization. The cost above what the standard Plano cases are is money well spent. The worry of moisture in case (as long as you put your gear into the case dry) is now gone, it's very convenient to just grab one of these cases - for whatever the purpose is - and go without having to be concerned whether you have everything, and, being that they are more than durable, your mind is at ease knowing that your gear is safe.

I just recently upgraded most of my Plano tackle boxes to these waterproof versions. All I can say is you tip your kayak over one time and you quickly realize the more waterproof stuff you have the better off you are. (Don't ask me how I know). This is probably true for anytime your near the water and if your fishing, this applies. I'm very happy with the quality. Yes it's a slight more inconvenient to open the box with the three latches but the assurance is worth it. I was able to stuff a ton of crank baits of all sizes in the deep model which is good because I was also trying to down size the number of boxes I carry in the kayak. These get my recommendation Disclaimer: I paid full price! Wish I got a discount or free items from Amazon.

Perfect for storing medical injection supplies!

The flexibility and sturdiness of this box exceeded all my expectations. The dividers are a little challenging to install but once in place they don't fall out, as many do in storage box types like this. The waterproof seal serves a different purpose - keeping dust out of the sterile supplies. Best find in a long time.

Very nice and sturdy! For the price, I would have liked a little more in terms of customization as the long dividers are stationary and would have been nice to be able to remove so one could use item as a regular dry box when not fishing. Other than that, the construction is very nice and probably thee sturdiest thing that I have ever seen with the Plano name on it. The seal appears very good and the snaps lock the lid down nice and tight, which is good unless you are buying this for a child. My 10 year old Nephew had a pretty tough go with them the first few times he opened and closed them, but got the hang of them by the end of the day.

Strong sturdy box.

This box is great. Its not only water proof but also well designed and sturdy. The latches "snap" in to place and seem to be built to last. Would recommend.
