It’s a nice tool for my face..

Not sure if it’s supposed to have a little light on it but mine doesn’t seem to. Either way this is a nice tool for my face when scraping off the facial hairs and the little bits of skin buildup.. My face feels like I just came from a facial spa when I use this tool…. Worth the price..

Too difficult to assemble.

Plan on spending an hour opening the compartment and inserting the battery. When the instructions say gently remove the end of the device, plan on using a screwdriver and a wrench to get it open. When it says insert battery. Plan on spending 15 minutes pushing and trying to insert the battery into a space that is too small to insert the battery into. Once you have exerted all this effort just to get it to work it will work OK. It shouldn’t be this difficult. Poorly designed.

Really nice, be careful you don't over do it

Definitely will remove a layer of skin if you aren't careful and it is capable of cutting you if pulled the wrong. Overall, it is incredibly useful and my skin is smoother and make up applies better since purchasing

Watch the video on this page. Ignore the bad reviews! Sharp but safe to keep around children too!

Here is what you need to know: 1. Watch the really helpful videos on this page on how to use. 2. This unit DOES NOT VIBRATE - why would a blade vibrate? So you can cut yourself? Don't understand the bad reviews since there is NO REASON for this dermaplane to vibrate. 3. Read the helpful instructions that come with this dermaplane: for best results, hold skin tight and place blade at 45 degree angle to your skin. 4. Use the light to see clearly in poor bathroom lighting and blue LED light will do wonders for your skin! 5. Use short strokes beginning at hairline and moving inward following contours of face. 6. DO NOT PRESS the blade down hard. 7. After dermaplaning - let your skin rest! No creams or makeup! 8. Let skin breathe for several hours before applying makeup and no sunbathing directly after use. My licensed esthetician was really impressed with it and loved the idea that it came with replacement blades. This is meant for a full face exfoliation and really should not be used more than once or else it could cause infection. Also, the blue LED light does wonders for my acne and break outs. While this may not seem like a super sharp blade, it really does leave your skin feeling amazing. I love that the blade is sharp enough but safe to keep out in my bathroom around my kids. Well done, Flawless!

A razor works better for me

I have been using a regular razor (on forehead and nose too!) which left my skin baby soft - a little bit sensitive for a couple of hours, though. I decided to try the dermaplane. Does not "scrape" too much. It is probably OK for sensitive skin. On my oily/combination complexion did not go deep enough. I was maybe scared not to overdo it... The directions recommend using it on dry skin. I think it is too harsh. YouTube recommends using a cleansing cream, which I did. Try and play with it. No two complexions are alike so, it might be fine for some. Quality wise it looks good. Good grip, fine "toothed" blades, high quality metal, ergonomic design. Maybe my crocodile scale skin needs a rougher tool. I would say: try it!

The box was broken and the battery and 2 of the blade refills were missing. Not good!! Have to get the AAA battery to try it out
