Poor design on this style

I love Emil Henry, but this Cloche having no handle is a burn waiting to happen. I used 2 pot holders to lift lid and the steam hit the exposed portion of my right hand. Be mindful if you are using. My one and only loaf came out beautifully. But I'm exchanging for one with a too nob

Nice pan

Needs handles when you have oven gloves on and it's hovering around 450 and slick as hell. I've almost lost it. THEN when you get it out the next problem arises. Try taking the lid off. Again really no grab points so you use a knife to start the lift all the while hoping the other end stays put and doesn't go crashing to the floor. I won't be buying anymore of their pans till issues are fixed

I was so excited to order this. It was a great price. Which should have been my first clue. When it arrived it was packed into a much larger box without any filling to cushion the bumps. I was happy to find it unbroken. I sent it back because the paint job was incomplete. The handle had white under tones where it was not sprayed heavily enough, as well as an obvious white spot on the handle. Even though it was a great price I could pay that kind of money with the flaws.

Perfect for my weekly loaf!

Only in the past year did I really get into artisanal baking, and this bread baker has helped me achieve very consistent results as I learn. Absolutely worth the price!

Up until I cracked I loved it.

Bummed. This baker came along for my new love of sourdough bread but now, less than 9 months later I see that it's cracked. I'm pretty familiar with ceramics, having taken years of classes & assisting a ceramic artist weekly. I know my little Breville oven that only gets up to 480 degrees didn't do this. It's a workmanship crack. We don't even have a dishwasher for this one trick pony. I've only used it about once a week for bread and nothing else. ???????????????????? Bummed.

Fantastic baker

Thanks Amazon for quick service, it was packed securely. I have baked beautiful sourdough bread twice and it has turned out wonderful, with a lovely taste. You just follow the instruction to grease and flour the bottom and sides. No sticking, the bed comes out easily. I feel it pays to buy good quality and totally recommend Emile Henry Artisan baker.
