Enjoying

Griddle is about 4 months old not & is working very well. We use it every weekend & is holding up good. We use only use plastic metal tongs on it. The copper non-stick is holding up pretty good.

Very short cord!!

No joke when they say short cord here. It might be less that 24” long. The only way for me to plug it in is to have the griddle resting on the cord itself or use an extension cord. Also when the item arrived it appeared to have been used. The plug on the cord itself was darkened from electrical use and the surface had crumbs. I needed the griddle though so I used it and it functions fine. Even enough heat. Beautiful for a griddle. Looks good. If it just had a few more inches of cord I’d have no complaints.

Great for preparing breakfast!!

I like most things about the grill except for the almost too short electrical cord. I have to alter the countertop to accommodate the larger, longer grill. I appreciate the safer non-stick ceramic cooking surface. The cooking surface cleans up fairly quick and has an even heat distribution and temperature control. I recommend this grill as it is worth the extra money compare to the less expensive teflon surfaced grills.

Power was wired backwards on temp control

With the plug properly in place in the outlet and with the temp dial facing up, this unit did not work. The wall outlet prongs were set up so one is taller than the other, so you can't put that in the outlet backwards, but the temp control was symmetrical, so i decided the reverse it so that the temp control was facing down, and it worked. I proceeded to tear the plug apart thinking it would be as simple as switching the wires, well there is some sort of built in surge protector or fail safe and was designed in such a way that I could not do that without soldering, and snipping. Finally decided on just grinding down the taller post to be the same dimensions as the smaller one and plug it into the wall "backwards" and that did the trick. Kind of annoying, but it's working and the griddle is fine. Shouldn't really have had to do any extra work to get it to work properly though.

Great for large family!

From pancakes to sausage to bacon to grilled cheese, this griddle is pretty good! If only it was bigger!

Received Damaged

I have not had a chance to use it yet. I was going to make some pancakes and went to wipe it down for first use, and the non stick coating was damaged. Would have been nice to have a griddle with an intact cooking surface.
