Filter wrong size for the 12Gal Wet/Dry Vac

The item was delivered the next day. But, while the item was described as a replacement or the foam filter that originally came with the Craftsman 12 Gal Wet/Dry vac, it was much too large (about 2-3 inches too large in the diameter). I was able to stretch it onto a new paper-dust filter and mount it for use in an emergency. And it worked OK as it covered about 80% of the paper filter area. Unfortunately, using the paper filter in order to get the foam filter to fit means that I destroyed a new paper filter....a very expensive solution... My hope is that using the foam filter over the paper filter may keep enough of the solids filtered out and onto the reusable foam filter that I may be able to get another use out of the paper filter.

Fits like a glove.

Material is strong enough to pull it down and over the fitting. Finally, not afraid of spraying dust all over the place from the exhaust.

It's A Filter!

So it didn't exactly fit my pond vac...so I stapled it to the proper width and it now fits perfectly. It was supposed to be the right size. Doesn't matter, I made it fit and it works just fine now.

Este filtro es para cuando aspiras liquidos, simplemente evita que gotas o particulas de aspirado lleguen a donde no debe. Yo lo dejo puesto tanto para aspirado liquido o seco, no afecta en mi aspiradora.
