Coopers Dextrose

It was advertised as dextrose but they didn't mention that it is 4% alcohol. I wondered why Coopers was selling it but could not find the info in the advertisement. It would be best for them to let consumers know it is not 100% dextrose. I'm using it because I didn't want to bother returning it but would not have purchased it if I had known.

My product arrived just fine

I'm not sure if the other two reviewers just had bad luck, or if Amazon and Coopers brew products saw the other reviews and corrected the problem, or if I was lucky. My order arrived intact. The product appears to be perfectly fine Dextrose. I wish there was a rating of "the product is what it is." It's Dextrose. It's fine. It arrived fine. I guess that's five stars.

Does what it is supposed to do, but bought 3 and all came in solid as bricks. Had to break up with a hammer and throw in a blender to get it back to a powdery state to use. The 3 star isn't really for the product itself, cause it does what it is supposed to do once it has been added to a brew, but perhaps the packaging (which really could be better) or how it is stored that it got some moisture and hardened up like bricks. I have some old malt in different packaging that hasn't gone to brick.

Everything from Coopers has been great. Sometimes where it's been shipped from is a different story but that's few and far between. Won't buy any other Beer mix or sugar or malt.

Doesn't sound bad but was as hard as concrete

Would give it 5 stars except that it arived in a brick form. Not powder. Had to break it up and boil it to break it down the rest of the way. Doesn't sound bad but was as hard as concrete. All said and done adds good flavor to the beer. Just be prepared for some extra work. Or just make your own. Cheers????
