Seems to work well

Used this to seal fittings while installing an AC split system. Only used a few drops, so now I have a lifetime supply (wish it came in smaller size)

Viscus Gel - Will Last My Lifetime

Definitely viscus, jell like substance. This characteristic alone would seem to seal threaded and surface couplings. Small amount appears to go extremely long way. Jell would be easier to see and therefore apply if was COLORED. Also would help avoid placing inside piping as is Warned Against. Unclear if once applied it never needs reapplication, which can lead to much applied and cause contamination.

fixed all my leaking fittings

used this after putting on all brand new parts that leaked between the new fitting. stays sticky and sealed just as advertised. very pleased with it, will definitely continue to use it.

Perfect

I hate flare fittings. Never had much luck with them over time. I've used this on two mini-splits recently and no issues at all. I know it's not my skill in making the flare so this stuff must be pretty good.
