Why yes, length means something

Soooo guys, if you told your lady that 6” is big, don’t let her use this tape measure. I use this tape measure at the range to measure distances for targets, and it’s pretty smooth. It’s a good product.

Used for softball

It works. I think I’d prefer the one I can wheel around by myself, but this works well enough. One good thing is that it’s small, so I can toss it in my ball bucket and not forget it. It’s sturdy enough that I haven’t had to worry about it breaking.

Accurate and useful, but a little less durable than I hoped

I use this all day, 5 days a week. It’s extremely useful for someone measuring long distances solo to have the metal loop to latch on a stake and roll it out. Rolls out and in easily. But with my heavy usage, the winding knob did break in my first 6 weeks of use. It still works, and I’m still happy with it. But I wish the knob used to fuel and unfurl the tape was more durable.

-Buyer beware- This arrived broken in box and it looks to be missing a washer as well. i do not recommend buying this one unless you like having to repair items right after buying them or enjoy returning them..

Inexpensive, but some come broken

I use these for my middle school science classroom, and while I know students are hard on things some of these have no durability, or basically come broken. I own 12 of them, and two of them didn't last more than two class periods. One of them didn't even last a single period before not being able to be would up any longer. With how long they are, not having the wind up feature is pretty debilitating. The other 10 are going strong, but I am not sure for how many more uses. If you are ok with about 15% of them breaking, this is the product for you. I do like how they are metric and imperial, as we use metric in my science class.

Accurate

Not sure why I need to write a review. 30 meters is 30 meters. If it is not, then the guy measuring this out needs to go to the University of Stupid.

Recommended as a great measuring tape.

As a track official I need a measuring tape that is easy to read, easy to wind up, long lasting and sturdy- as it will be used countless times at each meet. This definitely fills the bill. I had the exact same model for a great many years before it finally had to be replaced. Not bad for $11.97 right?! It has measurements in feet (notations in RED)on one side and in meters(notations in BLACK) on the reverse side. I have used other taps (owned by other officials ) and this one is by far the easiest to red and use! I highly recommend it.

Product was well received.

This product was well received. And the person that I purchased this product for was happy with this item. It was definitely needed for him in the track and field. No longer had to use a cone to measure the distance of his throw.

Small lightweight and portable

It was smaller than expected but this is an unexpected bonus since it is part of my kit for the work I do it is far less bulky I can throw it in a small travel bag.
