Best way to get around an airport with a car seat

This bag was exactly what I needed for my solo flight with my toddler (and her car seat and her stroller and a gazillion other necessities). It was so easy to wheel the car seat around the airport with one hand while I pushed the stroller with the other. A jealous dad actually told me that he wished he had gotten a similar bad instead of the standard red car seat gate check bags. My only critique is that the zipper is a little flimsy and splits easily if you don’t place your car seat in just so. I will probably take this to my tailor to replace the plastic zipper with a more durable one before I travel international with this bag. I would definitely recommend it though!

One4life fits

Read some reviews that the Britax one4life seat was a tight fit but took a chance on this bag. I found it fits easily just make sure you out the seat upright. Only used once so can't comment on durability but so far so good.

Great for traveling with car seat!

So glad I went ahead and purchased this and the Britax stroller cover for our trip! Fit the b-safe infant car seat and base perfectly. It was worth every penny. Had a handle and wheels so it was super easy to get from the car all the way to the gate! Just know, at TSA, the car seat has to be totally removed from this bag and inspected while this bag goes through the scanner. Super handy bag and good to protect car seat when it gets checked at the gate.

Protects car-seat well.

Have had this bag now for one year and its been on 8 trips with two different carseats: the Britax B-safe (BOB version) and the Britax Boulevard. Bag has a few holes in it and will probably last several more trips. Both fit perfectly (although the Boulevard needs to be clicked into the most upright position to fit into the bag, easy enough). Its easiest to deal with if you can check it with the rest of your bags. However if you are making connecting flights, don't risk it being lost and gate check it! It missed a connecting flight once for us and we had to wait around at the airport with our 6 week old until our friends brought a carseat for us to borrow, total pain in the but. If you take it with you: you will have to unpack and repack it because TSA will have to do a manual check since it doesn't fit through the baggage screening (this was for both carseats). It's not very convenient when traveling solo and you have to gate check it. My husband is an airline pilot so we travel for free on stand-by, which means we can't check luggage. So we have to gate check it....when I travel solo with my daughter who is now 16 months, I find it to be a pain because I can't wheel it behind me, carry her or push her in a stroller and carry my backpack. When she was tiny, it was no problem since I just put her in the Baby bjorn and away we went. So I've decided to buy the Britax cart that I can just click her carseat into. This enables me to click her into the carseat while pulling the carseat through the airport and I can take a roll-aboard bag. Only issue with this is there is no protection for the carseat when it goes from the gate down to the baggage hold, but it does get kinder treatment since it is hand carried down the steps and then placed in the cargo hold.

Worth the money

We took this on a trip that had a layover both going to our destination, and returning home. It's very thick, heavy duty. It has back pack straps so you can wear it on your back as you go through the airport. It fit our Britax Boulevard perfectly. It takes a few minutes to wiggle it in, but it fits, with the base. It does have wheels on the bottom, and a handle on the top (doesn't extend from the bag like a rolling suitcase, just a small handle). When we got to our destination, the bag was filthy and had a small tear in it. I can only imagine how horrified I'd be if we hadn't used the bag, and our car seat ended up that gross and ripped. And that was just one half of the trip! So thankful we had that bag! Why didn't I give it five stars? The bag doesn't exactly fold up. So if you are thinking about putting your little one in the car seat on one of those rolling carts, there isn't anywhere to put the car seat bag. Plus like I said, it does take a few minutes to get the car seat in there. So we just left the car seat in the bag, and carried our daughter. Even though it has wheels, it wasn't the easiest to pull through the airport, so my husband ended up wearing it on his back the whole time. It got pretty heavy. I couldn't carry it in my back. On our next trip, we decided not to bring the carseat because it was a bit of a hassle. But if you have to bring it, I'd recommend putting it in this bag. It will keep it clean and safe!

Does its job & keeps debris off the carseat

We have the britax advocate clicktight convertable carseat. It's a larger carseat and there aren't many travel bags that can fit it. We dont fly much and bought this last minute and it was on sale. For the price this bag does its job. I'm not sure how many flights this can handle, after our 1st trip there are some noticable wear and tear. Once the bag is zipped up, there is still enough space to fit some other items once the carseat is checked in. We put some blankets and a stuffed toy that we didnt want to pack in our luggages. Pro's: - Fits our carseat snuggly - Works as described and keeps unwanted travel debris from collecting on the carseat - Extra space to fit other items - Wheel's and straps for easy carrying Con's: - Durability is questionable for the avid traveler - When using the wheels, the bag isnt stable and tends to wobble side to side if the carseat isn't centered or walkway is uneven - No cushion or protection on the bag, if your looking for some extra protection there may be other options

cumbersome to use

We bought this so we could take our carseat to Italy. It can either be worn as a backpack (which is VERY heavy) or rolled along like a rollerbag. We thought rolling would be easier, however, there is no handle that extends out like a suitcase. The bag has a handle on the top that can be used to roll it along, but you'd need to hunch over to do so (I am 5 feet, 5 inches tall) which is uncomfortable. It does the job, but the handle for the roller could be a lot more user-friendly.

Caro, pero bien lo vale.

Excelente opción para cuando se busca rentar un coche y no se quiere rentar un asiento para bebé - niño, porque ya se tiene una. Las ruedas permiten llevarla como una maleta más y la lona es de buena calidad. Las correas para los hombros permiten cargar la silla, pero hay que considerar el peso y que puede resultar incómodo después de un rato. Caro, pero bien lo vale.

Good bag

The bag has rollers as well as backpack straps which you can tuck away when checking in to the plane which is handy. Fairly durable and easy to use.

Handle tor off after first use

We were keen to order this bag to protect our brand new Britax carseat but the bag tore on our first use on the way to the airport for our first flight with it. We are hoping Britax will offer a replacement or refund.
