As good or better than what I had

Replaced the plugs in the floor as they kept getting kicked and finally broke. Not these. The plug is recessed a bit more making it a better fit for my application. Bought two of them. Had them professionally installed but they appear to be very easy to use. A friend is my electrician and certified. He recommended them. I'm very much in approval.

Great looking floor outlet - but be careful when installing.

Aesthetically, I could be happier with this purchase. The brass looks great and the outlet is sturdy and very well made. With that said, I wish I took the advice of the other reviews: 1) you will likely want to saw off a few inches from the excessively long tube, and 2) do not use the brass-colored screws that come with the outlet - they are very poor quality. (I had one sheer in half, even though I had already drilled a pilot hole, which caused me to put a significant scratch in my hardwood floors.)
