Kind of soft

I bought this for a drill bit sharpener and though it works I find I really need to be careful or the bits will gouge the wheel, leave lines or streaks on the face. Seems too soft and a good deal of grit comes off the wheel compared to the original wheel.

the other review were true

Well, the other review were true. This disk is slightly wobbly on the machine. Since such an abrasive disk is not likely to be used for any fine grinding, it shouldn't be a problem. It's wobble is about 3/16" left to right. If the hole would be off center, that would be a totally different thing. But, as it is, it is quite usable. If you need PERFECT, plan on spending about 3x as much. For general use, this one is just fine.

Disliked that both new wheels wobble on the grinder. Thought a Norton would be a good wheel but erred again. Will take them out of service before using. One wheel's bushing has so much slop it is unsafe.

Spend some time educating yourself on how to balance a grinding wheel, it will pay off!

Great grinding wheel. If one looks up the proper balancing procedure, as described on youtube, it is perfect. For those who don't want to, and say it is off balance or drilled out wrong, keep sending back to Amazon. I will pick them up on Warehouse deals for 1/3 the price! Thanks!

Great grit for my hard steel refining. I use a course grit for rough work, then this wheel for further refinement. It is easy to attach to my wheel.

Good quality, comes with bushings

I purchased this for my bench grinder. Bench grinder say 3/4” but this was 1/8 too big to fit properly- I believe it’s due to the paper/label on either side of the grinding wheel. Other than the fitment on my old table grinder - quality was good with all of the spacers/bushings to fit your device.
