Works great, but one flaw…

The DualBus Plus is quality made. The housing is sturdy, cover is strong, and the metal is durable and made of stainless steel. The four threaded posts that accept the battery cables come with nuts. I had to add washers to ensure a solid fit to my cable connectors. The 10 screws were the perfect size for my accessory wire connectors. The base housing has two screw holes in it so you can attach this assembly to your boat. They are located in the center of the assembly. The clear cover easily disconnects from the housing when you squeeze in the two yellow tabs; very handy for accessing the screws. The one flaw I found is that the clear cover is not large enough to completely cover the connectors on the wires. There is enough metal sticking out that you can still get shocked if you don't watch your fingers close enough when working around other items near this bus. The cover is handy to have, and it makes this bus safer than others that don't include a cover, but it would be nice if it stuck out a ¼" more on all sides.

Just what I needed for my pontoon

This bus bar will put an end to having my battery terminals looking like spiders. I have an older pontoon with my battery located on a shelf behind my back seat and over the course of the season the connections would always loosen causing problems. If you had to fix a connection it meant pulling all 5 wires off, wrapping tape around them so that one, or more, would not drop down to where it could not be reached, as the boat was docked in a marina. Now I will have my 5 system wires going to this bus bar and only one cable each to the positive and negative terminals. Taking the battery off at the end of the season now becomes just unhooking these two cables and no more taping the 5 positive and negative wires so that no mistake is made in hook up in the spring. Finally will have a neat looking set up to my wiring. The top two studs will be used to hook up an inverter to run some LED lighting.

Great Product - Amazon selling USED units as NEW. Not so cool.

I have purchased quite a few electrical parts from BlueSea, through Amazon. Normally this is a five star company. However, this last DualBus was used. Somebody obviously connected wires to virtually ever terminal, then disconnected them scraping the entire surface with screwdriver marks, and returned the Unit to Amazon. This is NOT the problem. They sold it to meat NEW, rather than ... taking a loss. This is not acceptable. We are seeing this more and more often on Amazon! This is not right. If you get a return and the part has been (clearly) USED, provide a mark-down price but to NOT sell this using the term (in ALL CAPS) "NEW." This should provide me a discount ... but this would be the practice of a company on ANOTHER PLANENT, not here.

Dual Bus

Another well designed product from Blue-Sea. I just start looking in the Blue-Sea product line first, before I look elsewhere, if blue-sea makes it, I buy it, as my use requirement dictates. Have not been disappointed in the various products I've purchased over time from this mfg.

Very well designed and made

I own an early 2000 VW and did the "big 3" to the electrical system. The original battery terminals had small screws attached the the end of the terminals for the factory wiring. I checked the sizing before ordering and the small screws on this bus are perfect for VW factory screws and allowed me to add a battery charger and cables for HID headlights with a screw left over! At the ends I found lugs that take 0 gauge wire down to the small thread. This is perfect for cleaning-up your car battery area and 150 amps is more than your car is capable of making. You cannot tell from the pictures but there is a gap between the clear plastic and the screws to allow the wires to go at any angel you need. This allows for a clean, compact design that works.

Cut the number of wires on a battery

I bought it to reduce the number of wires going to the battery and it's working great. I installed lights on the front of side by side and then installed lights to the rear of my side by side. If I decide to install anything else I still have the room to do so.

Nice and high quality

I got this to convert a battery backup unit into a long term batter backup unit. The backup unit is a cyberpower 965 watt which originally lasted approx 15-20 min with my saltwater tank, heaters, lights hooked up. Since then I've come across multiple deep cycle batteries to use and have upped my time to about 4 hrs, which is more than enough time to get a generator hooked up in event of power loss in cold, etc. I bought this to tie everything together so my batteries all have the same charge, pull, etc. Works great and much better quality than I figured it would have

Superb quality, functionality and fit and finish. You cannot go wrong with anything from Blue Sea System, and this block is no different. If you are looking for a power/ground distribution block look no further. 10/10 would recommend and would buy again.

Good to have both positive and negative connections in the same package. Tight fitting cover protects all contacts adequately

Well made bus

I used this bus to distribute DC power to various devices in the cab of a tractor. I've ordered two more. They are a good solid unit. The plastic cover can be a bit of an issue with routing of wires but it's good to have a cover. And the cover is not an issue if the wires are thin.

Very solid product. Hefty plastic, cover snaps on with a satisfying click and feels secure, screw terminals have lock washers, fuses insert and pull out without feeling like you're going to pull the connector apart. I only just installed it so we will see how it holds up over time but my initial impressions are that it's great.
