Great vest.

Nice cold/wet weather vest for my dog. He is not a retriever, but our weather is often cold and wet at the same time, so the neoprene keeps him warm but doesn't absorb water. The cut is not perfect for his shape, but I understand that every dog has unique body proportions.

It all seems to be working out and well made, for the price. I expect to get a few years out of it. Much better than the Browning vest I had last time. My dog weighs 33 lbs she's a small Springier. The vest may be a little tight, but I think a medium would have been a little to big. They are suppose to be tight any way like a divers wet suit so I think it will be fine.

Order 1 size bigger

Order 1 size bigger then you think. Great product and the pup loves it. I had to trim a little around her legs and chest but it fits great. I ordered 1 size bigger then the charts recommended and it fits just a tad loose but she’s still growing. The quality is great and she has been out in the woods about 10 times and it holds up wonderfully.

Only vest I could find that was large enough for my 90 lb lab. Works very well and has so far held up after one season. I can stick my hand inside and feel the warmth.

Great vest, but was too small for our lab. We purchased the XL so I think this runs small.

Smaller then stated

I have a 85lb Labrador and it was too small by one or two sizes. I have older Avery Vests and the 2XX fit him but the new one I cant even zip it up. Vest is suppose to fit a 33" chest on the dogs chest measures 31"...Also within two days of ordering and receiving the vest it doubled in price. So I can't even exchange it.

Needed a lot of trimming around the armpits but my dog seems to like the vest. Does fit tight and rides high on the bottom side of the neck as well. Keeps her core warm underneath the vest!

Great early season jacket!

I really like the fit, the zipper velcro Combo is awesome but the material is too thin. It should be double the thickness for late season duck hunting. Price is great , delivery was super fast too.
