Worth the extra money, stopped buying batteries at Dollar Stores

I always thought I was saving money buying batteries at Dollar Store type stores. Paying less isn't always good! Our power went out for 18 hours and here in FL that is a catastrophe since it's unbearable without A/C! We had our hurricane fans ready, we loaded up the batteries and well... they didn't last very long! We had to rush out and get more batteries of a better quality that cost much more! I stocked up on these for hurricane season just now, to power up our lanterns and fans. I would recommend you stay with Energizer, check consumer reports, they are highly rated!

With all the batteries I purchase (7) great grandchildren I have to say the Energizer is the best and lasts longer than any other battery!

Energizer quality.

I have tried no-name batteries with a variety of outcomes. After some success and some headaches, I decided to go back to the well known names like Energizer and Duracell. The batteries came well packaged with and expiration date well into the future. No more cheap almost expired no-name batteries. I will say that I have also had success with Amazon Basics batteries, but won't take chances with any others any more.
