The ONE glue gun you need

I saw this item and decided to give it a try. Now, I normally use low temp because I am a wuss about singeing my fingers. But, the cordless feature and how lightweight it was caught my attention. Pros: 1. You can use multi-temp gluesticks with this but it IS a high temp glue gun. If you do want a lower temp, either wait a bit after removing it from the base to use it (it will start cooling) or squeeze some on a piece of cardboard and use a toothpick to place your blob. 2. This is NOT a rechargeable glue gun. It is a glue gun that sits on a plugged-in corded power base. You can then take the glue gun off the base (it IS cordless) and use it. When off the power base, it stays very hot for quite awhile. 3. Because there is not a rechargeable battery in the glue gun, it is incredibly lightweight. Basically just a light plastic body holding a gluestick with a trigger. 4. It heats up very quickly and cools down quickly. Allowing you to use it on a project and then quickly store it away. 5. It has the power base attached to a holder with a slick pad (teflon? silicon?) under the tip of the glue gun. You have to use the thing to understand how useful this is. You know how you always have to put something under your glue gun in case it drips? You don't with this one. If it does drip, it hits the slick pad. Once the drop has cooled, you can easily peel the glue off. Cons: 1. I found that if you use it for a very long period of time (hour+), you might need to let it cool completely down and then start again. It can get a little hot if it just sits for a long period of time. But then that is true of most glue guns. 2. It needs a temperature light. It does not tell you when the glue is at a useable temperature. So do not try to force the glue through before the gun has fully heated. You can test by lightly squeezing the trigger and seeing if it is ready. It is the same brand as the little dual temp glue gun that I have had for almost 30 years (I could not find my old one at first, so I ordered this one). That original one is still in perfect working order. This one looks like it will last me a long time also (lol - I will probably have to hand it off to someone in my old age). Give it a try, you will be glad you did.

Cordless without a battery!

I really appreciate the simplicity and usefulness of this glue gun. With two kids in elementary school, we do a lot of crafting. I appreciate the freedom of being able to go cordless, without the annoyance of making sure it has batteries or is charged. That said, it does seem to take a while to heat up, BUT it also doesn’t drip. It has a handy little drip tray, but never seems to drip. LOVE THAT! My only gripe is that it takes quite a lot of pressure to get the glue to come out. I’m not really sure why - so if you don’t have a lot of hand strength, I’d think twice about this one. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

I didn’t know I needed this…

This was an impulse buy to get to the minimum dollar amount for same-day delivery for something else I needed right away. My current glue gun is the size of a shoe horn with a three foot cord that makes crafting with it a giant pain so I decided to give this one a try and I’m so glad I did! Being able to use it corded or cordlessly is a huge plus and it keeps its charge relatively well considering the power this thing has. Just wish the base was a little sturdier. One thing to note - this is a glue stick obliterator! I’d recommend getting the really long ones especially if you have a large project. I had the short ones and had to keep a handful in my pocket because it ran through them so quickly. Very happy with my purchase though and glad I came across this!

Excellent Purchase

Needed a standard glue stick sized glue-gun to use with my car dent puller glue. This gun is excellent! It would be absolutely exceptional if it was dual temp, bc I found it to be maybe a little hotter than perfect. But it worked nonetheless! The wireless ability is to die for. It stays hot/warm for up to 2minutes off the power. Super handy! The power base/stand is also handy, the gun stands up easily in it and the drip pad is a super nice touch. The only real con is that it's definitely more cumbersome to store than a traditional gun... But the pros of it outweigh that in my opinion!

Pretty good but not as cordless as I thought

I haven’t used this yet so this is about the set up and directions, to plug in the glue gun to the base is a little tough but secure and getting th cord into the base was a little tricky not sure if I can get it all the way in. I put a pic of the directions because I would have liked to know that you can only have this off it’s base for 2 min and then needs 5 mins to charge again to use. So this is cordless but… not what I really wanted. I hope when using that it doesn’t need to be charged as much as the directions state. I like that the base is a regular plus in as the other cordless on has a usb charger

Heats up fast. Easily fits into holder when not using and can keep the holder plugged in without charging by flipping a switch.

Love this glue gun!

As an art teacher this glue gun has saved my life! Being cordless, it allowed me move all around to glue artwork for an upcoming show. The glue stayed hot for plenty of time when not plugged in the charger. I would definitely Rex coming this product!

NO UK PLUG!!

While listing states that the product is "Made in USA" what it doesn't say is that the product is shipped from the US with no UK plug. Attempted to rectify with customer services but they were not helpful in the least so have sent the item back.

It Doesn't leak

My last glue gun was cheap, leaked constantly & blew up. This one is the opposite, it's expensive but with good reason. It does not leak. The only hang-ups with the gun was that I needed to get a USA>UK adaptor for it & that the trigger requires a bit of exertion to produce the hot-glue. In spite of the flaws it is great value for money & the wireless functionality is great
