not black--it is yellow

all in all, ok.. i was expecting the item that was pictured,, instead i received a yellow one... not sure if it is after market or not... as... briggs and stratton are black.. works fine though

No more oil slicks on my shed floor.

The original part had failed at some point but after cleaning oil off the floor for 2 years I decided to finally replace it. Easy install and my mower no longer leaks. Product is yellow even though the picture shows black.

Nice part!

Fixed the leak. Nice part, already had some loc tight on the threads. Had to make a tool to tighten it. Sits very close to the deck and a normal wrench will not work well. Hey, when you change the oil, just slip a hose over the end and into your drain pan, works great!! "OLD MAN DAVE"

Different Appearance

The item fits the engine, but it does not look like the item in the picture even though the part number matches. The item you get is yellow. It looks like the same valve sold by Stens, and my guess is the B&S part is made by them. I have not had any issues so far.

Difficult to install but not the product's fault

Although much of this is plastic, it appears to be durable. It was difficult to install because of the very limited access to the oil drain port on our lawn tractor. Now that it is installed, changing the oil will be extremely easy.
