Worked Great in my Fridge
Woke up this morning and found my lights burned out in the fridge. It said I needed a 40w bulb and this looked like the right size and shape so I ordered it and got it in a few hours. Bulbs fit perfectly. They have a standard base, so the part that screws in to the socket is the same as a regular bulb you would use in a standard lamp. Lights are back on in my fridge! I know this says ceiling fan but it seemed the same as others and these were a better value so I got them and they work perfectly. My fridge takes two. I didn't realize that I had two burned out, must have been working on one bulb for awhile. Thanks for reading my review

40W Ceiling Fan Lamp
Great for use in ceiling fans and garage door openers. Just be careful and make sure you order the proper base. As with everything else sold now-a-days, there are a multitude of sizes.

Noisy - Pitchy/frequency sounds when I dim
It fits into my ceiling light fixture. I finally got the right size “a15”. I made a mistake of buying “a19”. They both fit into a standard socket but a15 is shorter in length and the globe is less wide. The color and luminosity of this light bulb is similar to my original bulbs. A little brighter actually. I can confirm they are dimmable. The main problem is that it makes this pitchy sound when I dim it. It’s quiet when it’s max brightness. The second problem is my fault. I didn’t realize I prefer frosted bulbs for my ceiling light. When I look at these bulbs and blink I see zig-zag of the filaments. It’s kind of harsh on the eyes since my light fixture sits low from the ceiling and the lamp shade isn’t covering the bulbs. Frosted is a softer glow. Easier on the eyes. They run hot and last a few months. The 2 star rating is mainly due to the noise they make when I dim. I later discovered GE Relax LED Ceiling Fan Light Bulbs (link below). They are a perfect match for my original/vintage bulbs. Finally! 3 out of 4 Work
I bought two packages and put all 4 bulbs in my ceiling fan. One didn't work right off the bat. That one also wasn't clear - not completely frosted, but mostly. And yes, I did unscrew it and put it back in to make sure. The other three bulbs are working. It's been 20 minutes with those and so far so good. This is my first time to purchase bulbs online, and first time--that I recall--to experience a brand new bulb not working.

Bulbs shot on first use.
I've used this product several times but the last two bulbs shot upon installation in socket. Unfortunately, I had kept the package in storage for a month before using so I was unable to return them.
