Quality change?

I have purchased this exact pair of jeans for my husband several times in the past, however this time the fabric seemed to be a little thinner than before, therefore they get 4 stars instead of 5. We will have to see how they hold up to typical wash and wear.

Finally, pants that I can buy in a size too long.

You just can't beat the price! Just the right amount of relax. I needed jeans that would allow me to throw a leg over the WR250R, which has a pretty high seat. These pants don't restrict me at all. These pants drap over the outside of my boots very nicely, too. One of my legs is apparently shorter than the other, so the cuff of that leg drags on the ground. But at least I can get them shortened. With other pants, I can't even get close to having pants legs that are too long.

Not very relaxed

Wranglers are usually very comfortable. The jeans appear well made, but the size I ordered - 40/34/Relaxed (the model 23) - is not really "relaxed" at all. I'd estimate the size 40 is closer to a 38. And as for relaxed, they seem more or less "regular". When buying jeans in the 20X collection, if you want genuine relaxed fit, I'd suggest not buying the "23 - Relaxed" but the "33 - Extreme Relaxed". The problem is the listing on amazon is not very clear so you need to be cautious.
