Nice warm color and not too bright, but do not work in night lights with photo sensors

I purchased this package of two 0.5W - 20 lumen - 2700K C7 bulbs to replace another LED of similar size that had burnt out after a few years. While nothing is indicated in the description nor on the package that these bulbs will not work with night lights containing photo sensors, they did not, very unfortunately. I tried them in both of my night lights with the same disappointing result. Despite the low wattage, I don't want them on 24/7, just at night, for energy use reasons. It's really too bad, as they have a nice warm color and just enough lumens in my view. We also use night lights bulbs in our tiny bedside table lamps, which are on a manual switch, so I was able to use them there and move the bulbs previously in the lamps to the photo sensor night lights for now. Still on a quest for low lumen/low watt - amber-2200-2700K frosted LED night light bulbs that work with a photo sensor... sigh.

One fell apart

One fell apart. The glass/plastic bulb part pulled off. Stuck back in, and the light still works.

Good replacement for your regular nightlight

I was surprised the nightlight my wife pickup loally in a pinch had the old school bulb. It get hot and I didn't want my child to potentially burn her hands on it so I replaced it with this cooler running LED light. Problem solved plus I have an extra bulb if I need it in the future.

The LED Night Light You've Been Looking For

I've been looking for an LED replacement for the night lights around my house. The ones I've found at the local stores have been a disappointment. With no frosting they create a stark, blue-white light which is irritating and cold. However, these Westinghouse bulbs are completely different, they are warm and provide a soft, even light. They produce an almost exact duplicate of the original incandescent bulbs in both appearance and temperature. In fact, I would bet if you didn't tell people they were LED, they would think they were incandescent. Using only 0.5 Watts and producing 4 watts of light with a 13 year life span, these replacements will be running long into the future. Marry the long life with an estimated 6 cents per year running cost and you have a total no-brainer here. The best part, the cost per bulb is only $1.42 ... That's a great deal in any universe. Get these bulbs and you'll never look for incandescent night lights again.

Not too bright, just right

I wanted a low light night light for an ornamental lamp. One that wouldn't hurt the eyes even if seen directly in dark room. Works well for this and led is good to leave on for a long time.

Half Broken

These bulbs fit what we needed but are actually really bright for a nightlight. I would have preferred lower lumens. The colour was also bluer than expected for a warm bulb but not bad. Ultimately, I would have been mostly satisfied with it except that one of the two bulbs didn't work at all straight out of the box. They're supposed to last for years but it makes me skeptical about how long the other will last now. I initially followed instructions to contact Westinghouse customer service directly to get the defective bulb replaced and after waiting about a week for them to get back to me they sent a kurt, almost rude, response back that basically amounted to it's not their problem. I ended up going through Amazon directly who gave me a full refund almost instantly with no hassle, so no complaints there. If I was buying again, I'd probably buy from Amazon but from a different supplier.
