Great but hole around knee was 5"around when it arrived. A bit excessive

I really like them but the opening around the knee is so huge, like 5" around that it's too easy to rip it.

They may be what other people are looking for, but for me, the material seemed rather thin, which makes me think they won’t be as durable/last as long. They were also a bit short on me.

Love these Joelle jeans which fit my curves nicely!

Stats: 5’ 2 3/4” 129#. I’ve always been a petite curvy gal with a booty. Hips 39”, waist 27”, thighs 23.5”. As long as I can remember it’s been difficult to find jeans that I can get over my hips, don’t gape hugely at my waist, and aren’t terribly long. Over the years most of my jeans have needed alterations. They just didn’t make jeans for ALL body types. I am not the typical straight skinny leg jean wearer. I feel I look best in a high rise, flare cut, stretchy, and curvy jean so it balances out, top and bottom. So when I found a jean that fits the bill and is reasonably priced, I had to review and do a comparable so that I can help others like me. I ordered the Xander sizes 5 and 7, and Joelle sizes 5 and 7. Both claim to be high rise, the Xander sits more mid-rise and doesn’t sit flush (or even close) to my waist. The Xander and the Joelle jeans claim they have Rayon in the material BUT only the Joelle size 5 had the Rayon in the jean. I liked the softness of the Joelle jean with the Rayon. I felt the Xander jean didn’t have the same stretch as the Joelle, and felt slightly thicker and stiffer. Didn’t appreciate that the jean description isn’t necessarily what you get. Quality control could be better. Also both claim the jeans have “high rise contour waistband which prevents gapping at the back”, but the Joelle (both sizes) were the only ones that didn’t gape on my body. The Joelle inseam (both sizes) is more like 28.5” (it reads 30” in the description) which I’m happy with due to my height. I can still wear them with tennis shoes and also my 2 inch wedges and look good! So my preference and the jeans I’m keeping are the Joelle flirty curvy fit jean, size 5. I feel stylish, sexy, cute, AND comfy wearing these. Hope this helps!!
