Good enough, but not much magnification and truly odd lanyard construction

My kids enjoy them, but I know there are better options out there. They don’t magnify much, so we won’t be using them outside to look at birds or plants. The biggest issue is the lanyard. Instead of one long piece, there’s a connector in the middle, which kids are bound to lose. When they do lose it. You won’t be able to just snap the remaining pieces together into a shorter lanyard because they’re both the same piece… they don’t fit together. Regardless, my kids are happy, so I’m happy enough with them.

Good quality-except for the neck strap

Got these as gifts for my kids. They like looking through them and they work well enough for what they are. My only really issue with them is that the neck strap has two breakaway points on it to help prevent a child from strangling themselves. It’s obviously a good idea to have it but it’s designed in such a way that they wear out very quickly and not cannot even support their own weight when hung around my children’s necks. Still, they seem to be the perfect first step to get them into watching birds and just generally looking around at stuff. I hope to get them a telescope as a next step.

Cute but not quite as powerful as I'd hoped

These are really cute and easy for the little ones to hold. But the actual power of magnification is not very strong. I was hoping for the grandkids to be able to zoom in on backyard birds and squirrels. Still, a cute toy for a little one 4 and under.

Optical quality is terrible

I am not a connoisseur of fine optics by any means, but I can't even be certain these magnify. It seems like I'm just looking at the world through distorted plastic 2 dimes sized holes that are 10 inches away from my face. Maybe this is all I should expect for $15? Pretty Shure for $15 I could get a camera with a digital display that...eh maybe that pushing it. Binocular part aside these are great, and simply adorable little "lookers"

Great only if you had a strap that is secure for young child.

I was excited to give it to my 3 year old granddaughter and she was excited. We went for our first outdoor adventure and as she was walking the break away strap did just that. Every time she placed them down to walk ,a few steps were taken and the strap breaks away and they drop to the ground. Not good for a child to keep having to pick them up off the ground. Could you send me another strap?????

Arrived damaged but product looks cute.

I purchased these as a gift and was disappointed to get them crushed. They were shipped in a bubble envelope... probably should have been a box.
