Sizing refers to the length of the overall belt, not pant size

I originally ordered a size "34" (I wear a size 30/31 inch waist pant), but this was too small. after taking measurements vs my current belt, I realized that I wanted a belt that was about 38" long. This sizing is the right length, but the "holes" for the buckle make this belt just slightly too large. I'm therefore giving the belt 4 stars, since there should be more than 5 holes (spread out over roughly 4 inches) for adjustment. Otherwise, the belt is really beautiful. It's the perfect belt to dress up or dress down (in khakis), and is reversible. I prefer the canvas side, it really represents the "chill-ness" that I was looking for. The leather side allows for dressing up, its in a really nice shade/color. The leather feels great as well.

36 is too small

Product received fits 32” waist instead of 36”

Size is not accurate. I am typically a 32. Ordered 34 but it measures like a 30

You can’t go wrong with Vineyard Vines. This belt looks great and is reversible so you get two belts in one. The quality is great and it fits as expected.
